Given the difficult terrain and the fact that the height of the ceiling down most of the rubble slide is 3-4 feet, there is no way to tackle it at normal speed. You can go down at 1/3 speed as you crawl your way down.

Oh, and there is one square in the north side of the rubble slide that is before you enter the room and can accomodate you standing straight up.

So given the travel domain power,..
Agile Feet (Su): As a free action, you can gain increased mobility for 1 round. For the next round, you ignore all difficult terrain and do not take any penalties for moving through it. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier. I take it he can get down at normal speed? If he uses a use of that naturally. Moradin is a dwarf,... hes good too Last edited by Alexader; Feb 5th, 2013 at 11:55 AM. |

Out of curiosity, if we bypass this now theres not going to be some crazy earthquake that makes it disappear is it?

Hope you don't mind if we bypass this, I know it probably irks you a little bit, this would be the second encounter we've bypassed, but Moradin is nothing if not wise and the party isn't at full strength and has no clue what they might face before they get the chance to rest.

Nah it's fine. I figured that was our only option.

Absolutely and this time with some alchemist fire,.... well not much someone had to steal one of my firebeetles...
Although really what we need is something that the unthinking skeletons can't outsmart.... shouldn't be too hard. Last edited by Alexader; Feb 5th, 2013 at 02:47 PM. |

Ohhh,... I know heres what we do. We take some water skins and have Moradin cast bless water on a barrel of water back in the brewery. Then he fashions some metal squirt caps so when you squeeze the waterskin under your arm it shoots a stream of holy water. Bamm ranged undead killer

Or, if our friendly arcane caster can cast silent image, she can wall off the skeletons from the treasure and we can just walk in and loot it.
From the looks of it they are under orders to kill anything living that enters the room, and they don't get a will save with the illusion unless they interact with it. Unless I am mistaken moving to check a wall that suddenly appeared should not be anywhere in their set commands, because there would be no way for whoever set them up as guards to guess someone would try something like that. Since they are mindless skeletons, they will just stand there and we can loot to our thieving hearts content. Last edited by Alexader; Feb 5th, 2013 at 03:02 PM. |
