The main reason that I've never taken Lucky is because I just know that I#d never remember to use it. It's like Inspiration in that way, I've been granted it a few times but have never remembered to spend it.

For Talia... she is going to push boundaries so I want her to have the danger of repercussions. Upping her skills gives her more confidence to attempt mischief!

@Everyone: Just letting you know that I moved the characters' thread from the "Solace" to the game's main folder. I found out that it saves me some time when I have to take a look at your character sheets.
I hope that you are all having a great Sunday and are able to relax a bit in conditions better than the desert of Khur!

I will say, being the last to react to this amount of expressive posts with lots of hooks will regularly have me strain to not leave too many hooks unattended while maintaining the direction I want my character to take the scene. Even by my standards that was a bit much text to tie the knot properly.
Either way, let's hope Blyne's great Persuasion roll will lead this opening scene to its most favourable outcome. At the same time I'll hope that it didn't make her appear as too imperious or meddlesome.

Great job, Mindsiege and Hayar! I think Kaylen’s actions nicely complete this first round of interactions. I will try to update today after work.
Thank you all for the amazing initial posts!

Quick question, just to be sure:
Are Tegan's brown color and Blyne's blue for speech and thought in Common or their native tongues (Solamnic and Irda respectively)? Given the interactions I am fairly certain it is the former but, seeing as in my case colors are going to be used for languages other than Common, I thought to make sure nevertheless.

I know how I want to respond but I want to wait for Elanir's response first, if nobody minds.
edit: sorry, this is in relation to the game, not text color queston.

@FCastor:
I'm not using colour to signify languages. Usually I do something like <<Hi!>> and mention the different language in the narrative or something like that.

I wanted to add about my post, that Blyne is currently worried about getting grouped in with the other outlanders. She sees the possibility of getting excluded from the festival merely based on the captain deciding that he doesn't want any of us here. She believes that there is a possibility that he would refuse to distinguish us from one another and not allow us to attend individually, so that's why she chose to work with that perception and decided to speak more for the group than just herself. Her hope is that even if any of the other outlanders anger the captain through their conduct, he'll show patience and teach us what he expects from us instead of merely giving us the boot.
Admittedly that's a bit overbearing of her, but then again it associates our PC with each other right from the starting line, so maybe Blyne's consideration has merit aside from her own selfish reasons.

Quote:
I hope that’s acceptable. As far as my posts are concerned, I will be “making up” words of “foreign” languages, though I ask you to forgive any inconsistencies. There will of course be a translation in common, though remember that your character will not be able to understand what exactly is being said, unless they can actually speak said language. I will be providing the first example soon.

The posts are awesome guys! I'm hoping to have time to put something together in the next couple days. Who knows why, but Mondays are always wild at my work.
