So far all the characters are such fun to experience! We've really come up with a group of interesting good guys. At least I am captivated!
I'm still figuring out Blyne's next step. It's actually more difficult to decide on her next stance than I had expected.

I'm writing a post now and Devari's reaction to Blyne is probably best summed up as 'suspicion fuelled by jealousy'. I'm not planning for a confrontation right now but sometimes the characters take matters into their own hands.

@Lazer:
He he, I'm sure this will develop like everything our characters do as we go. @FCastor & Elanir: Is Isandril easily discerned as a Wizard of High Sorcery by merely looking at him? I'm wondering what Blyne would take away from witnessing his magic.

However, Magius is the language Wizards use to cast their spells in Dragonlance, so maybe its use would tip off someone who understands the language or is knowledgeable in Arcana? Magic probably just looks like magic to the layman regardless of whether it comes from a Wizard, a Sorcerer or a Warlock or any of a number of arcane-focused classes, but to someone who knows, there are probably differences. Other than that, I guess it is up to Elanir.

I will post tomorrow. Great work from everyone! I'm so honored to be among this group of creative characters.

Isandril does not look like a wizard of High Sorcery, though he could have, since students may wear the robes of their master(s) before taking the Test.
As FCastor said, the use of the (spidery) language of magic (Magius) is -for anyone paying attention/possibly even for Aric who is looking for a mage to help him!- a dead giveaway. Divine spellcasters merely pray to their gods using whatever language it is that they normally use, sorcerers too don't need to speak in Magius (though they can, if they think that it helps them focus) and there is no precendent for warlocks. Wizards have to be very exact with their spells and rituals, thus specific gestures and incantations are necessary. Sorcerers on the other hand shape their magic on the fly using their willpower, though they too must develop suitable ways to channel the primal energy around them. To say it differently, all wizards cast a certain spell exactly the same way, while each sorcerer has (probably) found their own (unique or not) way to weave their magic. I think that Blyne probably gets that the "other" elf is using "wizardly" and not "primal" magic. A member of the Orders would have worn their characteristic robes, so she probably thinks him a dabbler or renegade. Aric, having seen less of the world than Blyne, probably can't make the distinction. Does that help?

Sorry if Kaylen's outburst ruins Blyne's carefully constructed charm offensive, @Mindsiege. She is feeling a bit raw at the moment.
I tried to incorporate what others are doing with colors and languages and stay blocks. Let me know if anything is off |

So, Elanir and Hayar, how do you come up with the made-up words and phrases for, say, Khurish? Or any other language for that matter? Any pointers? They look/"sound" awesome and pretty fitting!

I just made up what sounded right. It is not meant to be insulting to anyone here of Arabian or Persian descent hopefully. If there is a word that is similar to anything I know, I tried to include it, like hajj(i) for pilgrims or something that sounds appropriate like "Bech!" for "Shame!" but otherwise it is ignorant mimicking really.

@Hayar:
Not to worry, Blyne's having a small crisis on her own since Talia raised her fuss. I'll need to get deep into character before I can say what she'll do next, because there are a few things pulling her in entirely different directions. She usually doesn't want to put herself at the centre of (an armed) conflict like she might be forced to if she wants to affect the outcome of what's happening right now.

Incidentally, is there a way to parse these language fonts from the spreadsheet or would I just google them?
