I had meant the initial Deception check to apply until Rolen pulled back his Hood. However, Rolen has changed a bit since Honeysuckle and he adventured. I’ll put up a post where Rolen identifies himself.

It looks like somebody is going to have to read the book. Torgrun has a +1 INT modifier, but no trained skills that apply. Glanteth has no modifier unless trained with no modifier, so +3religion could apply - not so sure it would in this case. Glanteth can cast guidance on Torgrun and possibly "help" by irritatingly reading over his shoulder...

Honeysuckle has a -2 to arcane and religion. I'm sure he'd be no help.

Okay. The book is one of our only leads (unless I'm forgetting something obvious). We need to have Torgrun read it with a guidance from Glanteth. I'll post out for that in the morning.

Does anybody else remember any leads I'm brainfarting on? We need a way to locate Miss Ignisora. I wonder if that weirdo from 2 chapters ago knows anything (the guy who sent us out with Hip-Hop against the swamp hag)...

I was trying to think of a great name for our band - I'm so glad you nailed it! Who's the moustache man? The same guy I just mentioned above? I think he's our best bet. He was very cagey in the beginning, but fessed up to everything at the end. He didn't realize his goblin servant he sent with us was a Barghest in-disguise and he's the one that gave us the Succubus's name. That's who wanted the stuff we took from the hag, Hip-Hop just took it from us instead. I'm betting he has a way to establish contact with her or something.

BTW, it's Brimley Walton. secretID gets all bent when you confuse the name for the old actor because that's actually his PC in another game. It's funny because I called him Walter Brimley before, not remembering the actor's actual name.

Funny quirk in 5e that all are equally helpful, even with INT, WIS, and CHR skills.

We'd like to confirm what the ritual actually does, though. Maybe we should hit-up Brimley Walton one last time before showing up on Izim's doorstep. I still want to visit the Gelch's as well - gotta see that baby! Glanteth already casted Detect Good and Evil on her stomach without result though, so I don't expect it to have vestigial horns or anything.
