By promising to bring her back, Izim does have a vested interest in our success, but he also wants plausible deniability. As much as I hate to meta-game, I kind of did in my last post. I asked for a favor instead of actual payment, knowing that (under the WM world government) secretID is only allowed to give our group a fixed amount of loot. We might as well get it from Ignisora instead of Izim.

Edit: sorry, am I right or wrong in that assumption? Just looking for the easiest way to get the most help from Izim.

Just a short post to have Rolen support Glanteth's proposal with Persuasion. Oh yea, Honeysuckle's 1d3 can be added to the Persuasion.

Uhm... Rolen's suggestion was different than Glanteth's regarding our book. Glanteth offered to surrender it for keeps along with the succubus upon our return. I may be wrong in the assumption, but I thought Brimley might need both books at the same time for cross-referencing. That's my only concern - I don't expect any of us to make any sense from Izim's book without Brimley either. Also, I thought a "keeper" would sweeten the pot more since the book won't be of any more use to us on our return.

In the interest of moving things along without railroading, I have written a longer passage but broken it into segments like I just posted. I’ll post one of these each day. If anyone wants to do something contrary to the little post (e.g., not giving blood) or something else not obvious (e.g,. visiting some other contact), just let me know and I’ll adjust.

Sounds good. To my understanding, we're to Brimley's with both books, then back to drop Izim's off. I wouldn't mind waving at that section from a train car. I don't have anything for our extra 2-day wait either. Maybe someone else does, though.

Apologies. I missed that it would take a day for Izim to get his hands on the book my first time through and posted somewhat counterpoint. I'm okay giving it (the blood) up at this point as I'm feeling we're (Izim and the party) are about the same goal. I believe our next stop is back to The Inkpot and Quill to have Brimley cross-reference the books to see what he can glean.
