I don’t watch much used to be a big Giants fanpro football and was just hoping that both teams had fun during the playoffs. I don’t think that’s going to happen today - win or lose, the kicker is going to be sad.

ESPN and Bleacher Report reported that an unnamed person placed a mid-game bet for the Chargers to cover - $1.4 million wager for a shot at approximate winnings of $12 grand. Ouch...

I hope the cowboys run the score up. Watching them absolutely destroy Brady tonight has been a lot of fun. This might be the worst playoff game of his career. He’ll be back again next year. I hope that season is even worse.

I’m glad I kept watching. The look on Brady’s face as he put his helmet back on at the 2 min mark made me want to respect him. That look said "screw you I'm going out and scoring another worthless TD because I’m Tom Brady and I can."

And that "what the hell am I doing?" look on 4th&6 was also satisfying.

Update after Wild card weekend... Went 4-2, but neither of the teams I picked to win were going to win in the Conference battles, so I can still go 4-0 this weekend. I think Philly beats Dallas (although Dallas looked good, they looked good against a losing team, so... And, Dallas rarely looks dominant two weeks in a row. Maybe they used up all their good mojo on Brady.)

And I don't think it matters who plays the Niner's.. Niner's gonna win.




I really think SF is a complete team, but I worry about Purdy in the big games. On the other hand, the only other team I think can beat SF is Philly, and... Hurts has no more big game experience than Purdy. So, that's a toss up there. I think Hurts is probably a better QB, but... he's hurt, and SF has CMC. And a better defense.

On the AFC side, I really think it's another Cincy/KC run, and honestly, I think Cincy might win, but i can't say that in a prediction. Buffalo is good, but Josh can get squirrely, and take too many risks, or have a bad day.

KC and Philly should win these games. Failure would be completely on them.
Buffalo and SF I'm less sure of, SF especially.

I'm admittedly biased towards Buffalo since they are a Divisional Rival, but I think they will have a defensive edge that could be the difference in their game. Whichever team has a better day on Defense will win. If it becomes a turnover battle, Cincy wins as Allen is prone to thrown interceptions.

With all of the weight on Purdy, this will be a game decided by the QBs. Dak has shown to have consistency issues at times, so whoever plays the best is going to take this home. SF has the slight advantage on the Run Game, I believe, but that could change if Dallas finally gives up on Elliot doing the bulk of the carries.

I know, based on both the outcomes and the play, that my opinions will change in the next round, but, should everything hold as it is at the moment, and my picks are good, I would see a BUF v. SF "Big Game" with Buffalo winning. My confidence in this outcome is fairly low, though. "Picks" are not my forte.

@Squeak... it all depends on which Dallas team shows up this week.

I, for one, am getting worried about the Bengals Offensive line. My dream: they play well enough to beat Buffalo, maybe due to Josh Allen turnovers entirely.

Then, they come to Arrowhead to play the Chiefs next weekend, and we feast on the weakened line, and introduce Burrows to the turf a dozen times.
