On the one hand, we are down 24-14 at half.

On the other hand, Chiefs 4/Eagles 4 on my superbowl pool wins me $100.

and I promise, if we lose, there won't be a year of "Yeah, but..." from me.

A day, perhaps, if the officiating crew continues to ignore Defensive Pass INterference, but... just a day.

Mostly, we need to give the offense some time on the field, and the defense a bit of time on the sideline. 8 minutes in a half on the field, no one can win with that.

I’m still not comfortable with our lead. The eagles are playing really well, but damn KC is good.

It was good to see mahomes walking down the tunnel well. I’m just as nervous as I was when the game started. Coffee is wearing off. It’s almost 0200. I’m hoping to be asleep by 0500.

Guess I’m pacing for the rest of the game. That’s fine. Everything is fine. Totally okay right now. Yup. Definitely feeling emotionally stable at this time.

I’m going to say this once and never mention it again.

#riggednfl

That was a bad call. We probably wouldn’t have come back, but we’ll never know.

I thought the halftime show was horrible.

The game was the best played Super Bowls we’ve had since 2008 (Giants/Patriots helmet catch game).

Extra credit should go to the trainers for whatever the injected Mahommes ankle with at halftime.

That was a good game. KC played well and really came out strong in the second half.

I’m more upset Drake won 778k on his 1million dollar bet on KC. I really don’t like drake.

I ended up winning the 4th quarter pool too. 300 bucks total and oh yeah
.. the chiefs won.

I'll be high on that for 6 months.

Well earned my friend. Mahomes is a beast, and KC is going to be a dominant force for years to come.

KC might have edged out Dallas for my least favourite team this morning though. Let our bitter football rivalry begin.

It’s 0430 and I’m praying sleep finds me before sunrise. I definitely suffered to watch this game. Wife told me I couldn’t plan our holiday around the Super Bowl. I’ve decided to end the pity party. Here’s what I’m grateful for.

The Eagles proved they deserved to play in the Super Bowl today. The 49ers players definitely aren’t going to shut up now, but we’ve got a rematch next season.
My father took an afternoon nap, so he could stay up and watch the game with me. Wife tapped out at halftime, but she’s getting up with the toddler so I can sleep in today.
On paper I’ve been an Eagles fan for 21 years, but really only got into watching the last few seasons. This was the first year I watched every game. It’s been one helluva rollercoaster. I’ve seen the Eagles play in two superbowls. The first year as a fan and tonight. Both times we lost by three. Didn’t watch the 2017 season and we won with a backup qb… so now I get to struggle with the superstition that maybe this is my fault.
The beers in Portugal only cost €0.95 and my fourth quarter port was €9. Had I have gone to a sports bar at home this event would’ve been much more expensive.
Please god let me sleep before sunrise.

My bracket choices were mostly a bust, but I did call the game that mattered. Nice to know I’m not always wrong I guess…

Don't let anyone say the Eagles weren't the best team in the NFC this year. If they can build on this team, they can be good for another half dozen years at least. They are probably the best rounded team in the league, hitting high on every cylinder and metric.

We'll both be in the playoffs next year too.

Great game. I thought it was going to be a massacre after that very business-like opening drive by the Eagles.

I don't know that I've ever seen a QB better at making those impossible throws in the middle of getting sacked. Dude can be halfway to the ground and still hit the receiver. Just fantastic.

Congrats to you and your fandom, Dirk. A well-won championship!

You might get it first game of the year... Chiefs and Eagles play next season in the regular season, and that match up could be picked to be first game of the year.

Most likely choices for Chief's first game: Eagles, Bengals, and Bills.

NFL loves the grudge matches to kick off the year.

So, at least two losses for the Eagles. Got it.

Maybe we’ll go 1-1…

I’m curious how the next few seasons will go. Hurts is going to eat up a lot of our cap space moving forward. Two first round picks aren’t going to plug the whole created by free agency either.

Alright I need to stop thinking about football for a few months. I’m still a little sad about the Super Bowl.

See you guys here in the fall.
