[Profession] The Cultivator
![]() An Epicurean Cultivator
The Cultivator To some, tending a garden or taking care of animals might seem like a mundane thing, tasks better left to who can stand the dull drums of domestic life. And that might be true for someone who is always looking up, but if you spend your whole life with your eyes on the horizon, you'll never see what's right in front of you. No one understands this better than those who cultivate the land and its denizens, and giving a part of themselves back to the earth is the greatest pursuit they can hope to master. Because in doing these things, they cultivate not just simple goods to sell or use, but also bonds with the land...and one another. Though it is often more common to find a cultivator settled and rooted to the ground on a farm or a ranch of some sort or another, a select few travel with their herds, perhaps in search of a home to call their own or new opportunities to learn more about their chosen craft. Who says you can't go grow things and go on adventures at the same time?! |

Cultivator Media
![]() A cultivator's media is defined by what they cultivate. Choose two options from the listings below. Note that you choose two categorically, the subcategories to the right are examples of what that category broadly encompasses and should be defined by your actual profession. Selecting a medium doesn’t mean you’re fully versed in the scope of all its materials, which is to say someone who raises cows may know little about raising spiders, while someone who spends their whole life growing vegetables might not be as capable at growing fruit trees: Tools of the Trade If you select Cultivator as your first Epicurean Profession, you automatically gain proficiency with a set of tools chosen from the list of cultivation-related tools you can find in the "Tools of the Trade" thread. Note, however, that if you feel your profession might have better use for some tool not listed, you're free to define them just as you would a set of Artisan tools. Generally speaking, your first set of tools should match one or both of your medias.Multiclassing In order to multiclass into an Epicurean Cultivator, the following prerequisites need to be fulfilled: Last edited by briar; Jun 2nd, 2023 at 06:30 PM. |
