I'm not going to nitpick everything, just in cases where it gives an advantage otherwise not found in core/apg. For example, using a kilt/breast plate allows a +7 bonus while retaining the +3 max dex bonus where without it, you would have to have at most a +1 dex bonus for armor that high.

I feel terrible now. I really hope this isn't a deal breaker that I was not very clear in the game description. My reasons for wanting to not use extended materials is they usually get overpowered a little bit more in each iteration (best marketing ever) and it's just so much to keep track of as a GM. My philosophy is to be very lenient if it's just flavor, but allowing everything can lead to pan-pan lite situations where some characters are obscenely more powerful than others or allows them to overstep their role onto another character's role.
Again, I am sorry about that. |

Here's how I view it.
I signed up for JustDave's game, in the pathfinder setting, with JustDave's interpretation of the Pathfinder rules. I'm playing JustDave's game, in the pathfinder setting, with JustDave's interpretation of the Pathfinder rules. In my longstanding experience with RPGs (3 months now, woohoo!), I've come to expect that every game is different because every game has a different DM. Don't feel terrible, run your game.

Haha, I wouldn't put it quite like epelj1, but I agree. Your game - your rules - I'm just happy to be a part of it

Two notes.. The map has been updated and I replaced Bareris' token with the picture he provided.
Second, things are getting heated in the Green Dragon Inn, while not initiative time yet, I'm going to let everybody have a chance to post before any other action takes place and starting with Bareris' last post. |

And a final note, I've added a thread for lurkers (I frequently see guests viewing the game) to post. If that thread gets any interest at all, it may contain spoilers. I set up the thread so players should not be able to see it. Let me know if you can see it before I spill any beans.

JD, just to clarify, are wrist sheaths (spring-loaded or otherwise) allowable or no? Worse case, Jaya just hides a couple daggers in her gloves and draws them normally. No biggie.
BC, Jaya's the non-confrontational sort, she's glad you didn't! Although, strangely enough, the first to draw a weapon.

I've been thinking about this, though not too much. But anyway, if I was going commando with a kilt and breatplate, I'd probably feel more agile than being in a breastplate and traditional pants.

And probably a bit more chilly too. Bareris is quite confrontational, looking forward to headbutt the guard. |

Non-lethal damage.. that's probably a good idea.
Jaya inconspicuously slides the dagger into her bag.

Keep in mind, these are not official guards, but as Moradin has said, they act under the protection of the town guard.
