Drop her crossbow--free Stow her crossbow--move action Draw her rapier--can be done with move action (i think that rule requiring +1BAB to draw something from a scabbard while moving is dumb. Im old, fat and out of shape and I can easily jog and do that). I'll stick to the rule for drawing something from your back or something large like a bow. Since Jaya can double move 60 feet, she can drop her crossbow, draw her rapier and move to the hall standing outside the room (where the black arrow makes a 90 degree turn) and end her turn there. She can keep her crossbow in hand and move the same distance. She can also choose to move less if she wises. If she stows her crossbow and draws her rapier she can move into the next room but not have a show down the long hallway (move 6 squares with every other diagonal counting 2). Or she can draw her rapier simply switching her crossbow into her off hand, holding it there does not give a penalty to attack unless she actually tries to attack with both

Thanks! Good rule though, didn't make much sense to me either.

That's why I scratched the part about 'holstering' it. Figured there'd be no point. I also didn't realize that loading a light crossbow is a move action, while loading a heavy crossbow is a full round action. Doh.

We are waiting on Bareris and Jaya and I can reveal this b/c I don't see how it affects anything. On the Doppelgangers turn, they will announce they will let you live if you let them pass. Let me know here how you will act. If you let them pass, they simply walk by you. If you don't, you can make attacks of opportunity on their move phase and we will have to draw out their turn (i.e. Moradin decides if and against who he makes his AAO attack, if the gangers move past Moradin, and decide to continue moving then Jaya, depending on where she is, gets the same choice, etc).

Being CN, Jaya might have let them pass, but as it is, there's a bloody heap on the floor dying, so she's going to have to stand her ground.
And, I'm guessing, but the 'Duke' would be the target of both Moradin and Jaya. Though, she'll attack what he does, unless whoever it is dies. Also, Moradin would get a flanking bonus, but would Jaya?

I guess I should have phrased it this way. If everybody lets them pass they pass. If not, I will move one of them and wait for AOO, then so on.

Hell no hes not letting the damn dopplegangers go
As if let them escape and resume the role of the duke, we need their bodies to prove that they aren't the real duke |

For Bareris, if he wishes to race back to the others, he use an acrobat DC 12 to hop onto and over the table at normal speed (failure means tripping) or move around the table. He cant do a 4x run due to the serpentine nature of the path.
And speaking of movement, Moradin shows 30ft base speed. Is that due to some trait or should he be 20 like other dorfs? |

Don't get me wrong, Moradin has no interest in her, she doesn't have a good dwarven woman beard, all good women should have a beard. Makes great handlebars. |
