Now that we are off, two quick things. I added a "relationship" thread just for a quick summary. I need some details from a couple of you in your Character thread. After you read the new thread, if you want something added, just ask.

Also, you may each roll a K: History to see if YOU already know something about the Sword.

Taking a slightly different option on how Fionn is introduced to the party. Since the sword aspect of this has only just been introduced, I'm changing my story a bit.

My idea; he's heard of some adventurers, and sees that as way to get home or at least make more money, and headed north to meet them. You must be them! What luck! Of course, you're free to play up the "guy who shoots lightning" aspect of it as well if that interests you.

No worries, I'll have Sav do a KN: Local check to see if she recognizes Fionn, so I've no clue if lightning will have a mention! I'll let Digorig be the judge of that.

Although, we're in an elven village, so I'm not 100% sure the holyman would have a name like Olafsson! Then again, there might be a lot of cross-pollination of races, so it's also entirely possible! I am sick, forgive any ramblings, will post again in the evening.

Gah, my apologies- I knew we were starting in an elven village and then forgot. Switched it to something more elven.

All good folks.. Good catch on the name Dark, but all the towns have some degree or racial mixes. This one is just MORE Elven is all, so humans are a minority.

Recall that this is the decline of non-human races. Elves, Dwarves, orc's etc are dying out. One most likely cause is the Vikings themselves who are "mostly" human. As they Rape, Pillage and Plunder (that is what they do) many half-breeds are born - Halfelves, Halforc's (yuch, some Vikings are desperate) etc.

So, there are still some generations of non-human races left, but the decline has begun.

That last game post was slightly more autobiographical than I'd like to admit.

I had a couple encounters in middle school where my own rage was only countered by the presence of dogs.

This is my second Digorig game, and I love that he pretty much lets characters play the scenes until they peter out or the characters move things along. I felt like it was hinging on my character to conclude the current confrontation and find a new one.

I don't know why I feel a need to explain myself when given praise.

LOL... I dislike games where the DM 'must' post once PC's do every time. The DM should be more like a Liaison between the PC's and NPC's. As long as things progress, why interrupt?
