The Lair

Herein lies an infodump about the current state of your evil lair.
RequisitioningSince you work directly for your evil overlords, you don't go off and spend money in the old fashioned sense. Rather, you provide money(and potentially rare materials) to the lair's craftsmen, and over time they'll make the stuff for you.
Requisitioning items works rather simply: give them the money they need to make it, as well as any strange items they might need as well, and they'll make the stuff for you. The more you requisition, the better they'll get at their craft, and they'll be able to make better and better stuff.
You can also invest, giving them things related to their craft. This doesn't directly get you stuff, but it makes them improve their craft much better, as well as getting their wares spread among the rank and file at your lair.
RankYour rank is a measure of how much your comrades approve of your work. Doing missions, helping around the lair, and so forth, will make this go up. The higher it is, the more they'll trust you, and the more freedom you'll have in your affairs. Note that while generally higher rank will make them like you more, you'll always have fanboys or haters, regardless of how high it gets.
Current Rank: Test Subjects - 0
Effects: You're expendable. Don't expect to have any say in what goes on.
The ForgeThis place smells of molten metal and soot. A smal kobold runs frantically from fire to fire, barely managing to keep the place under control. Hordes of semi-sharpened weapons hang from the walls.
What We Do: Makes weapons and armor for you, and eventually the other soldiers.
Current Rank: Apprentice Smith - 1. The previous smith was badly injured in a tragic anvil accident. His apprentice is attempting to cover for him(badly).
Requisition Ingredients: Money, Rare Materials.
Investment Ingredients: Money, Magical Weapons/Armor, Rare Materials.

A satyr rises in the morning, and hangs the coffee mug on his horns, so that he won't lose it.
The coffee is done, but the mug isn't in its usual spot. Where did it go? He forgot.

The BibliomanceBookshelves line the walls of this cave with little regard for proper architecture or gravity. You start to wonder how easy it is to get lost in here, when you're distracted by a goblin poking his head out from inside one of the shelves, distracted by your presence.
What We Do: Learns magic spells and makes potions/scrolls/wants, as well as storing information on the world around you. Greater knowledge also helps teach people around the lair better magic.
Current Rank: Librarian - 2. They have a good collection of spells, but many are hiding in the Quiet Reading Corner, where a manticore has been demanding his right to Read Quietly without interference.
Requisition Ingredients: Money, Scrolls.
Investment Ingredients: Money, Spellbooks, Rare Magical Texts.

Arcane LabsThis place smells of odd chemicals, where transmuters and conjurers run around crafting strange creatures of creepy design.
What We Do: Works on improving your racial abilities, as well as making pets/mounts for you.
Current Rank: Igor - 1. You've gotten them a bit of practice, but they're seriously lacking in research subjects.
Requisition Ingredients: Money, Creatures to Mutate.
Investment Ingredients: Money, Test Subjects.
