Sometimes, our heroes can bend the code of reality that is time and space for their own advantage, unknown to them, ofcourse and only done thanks to the hands of destiny.
A Destiny point™ is awarded to a certain player that had the best performance during an encounter after it's completion. The requirements for a Destiny Point™ vary from Damage Dealt, Best Actions, Best Role Playing..etc
DP can be used for many different things, Including but not limited to:
Increasing an attack roll or a skill check by +1 for every 2 points spent. This is done BEFORE the dice is rolled.
Increasing a Damage roll by +1 for every 3 points spent (max +5). This is done BEFORE the dice is rolled.
Bring one PC back to life Immediately after death with all his stuff and without losing a Level by spending 30 DP. This can only be used on PCs other than yourself.
Guarantee that your opponent's next attack is a Critical Fumble for 10 DP.
Guarantee that your next attack is a Critical Success for 10 DP.
After casting a spell, using 2 DP allows you to not lose that spell for the day. This can only be done once a day.
After casting a Psionic Power or a Spellpool Power, using 2 DP allows you to not waste any Power Points or Pool Points for that power, This can only be done once a day.
You randomly stumble upon a random amount of gold for 1-10 DP.
Randomly (and positively) Enchant one random piece of equipment (Weapons/Armor/Jewelery) in your inventory for 15 DP
