Haha, I'd say make a Knowledge: Law roll unless you have a better suggestion.

Hmm, I'd probably think it would be a knowledge check in general (just using wisdom bonus) or possibly a Knowledge Local, except that Local is typically a specific area, not just a general thing to apply to any location you end up in.

Ok wisdom bonus is fine, I'd say it'd be an easier DC if you actually took knowledge law. But obviously it won't come up that much haha.
