Question out of left field - anyone here interested in fantasy football? I run a few leagues, and thought it'd be cool to have a league for PBP RPers only.

We’ve got the diplomatic matters covered pretty well, Thamewolf. Darian has a +5 check in Diplomacy from having to handle heated situations between new recruits and superiors during his years serving Lastwall.

I’ve heard of fantasy football during the commercials when watching my favorite teams during the season, but haven’t really looked into it before. I would be interested but would have to have it explained a little…

On the diplomacy front Figan is pretty lacking. As for the other thing, sorry, but I don't follow sports. It's about as interesting to watch and follow as fashion trends to me.

I don't follow sports so fantasy football is a no from me as well. I mean, I will watch football if it's on and understand everything going on, and can sometimes even get into it. However, I have a sort of policy about only watching TV on my own terms, so I don't watch live TV, just on-demand. Thus, actually following all the teams and players is a bit beyond me.

They do - fine writing by all. This part is fun, since these NPC interactions are wholly non-scripted in the AP. They give me a general description (a sentence or two) about the NPC, and I go from there.

BK - is there a chance that's a picture of you? If so - you're a crazy....ahem...either way, hope Dmac stays healthy for you this year.

While you're quite confident in your abilities and knowledge, this blood rite doesn't make any sense to you...if it even is a blood rite. It's your educated opinion that it's just someone's writing in blood; you have no idea of any way in which the writing could be used.

Sorry I've been away. I was at a friend's wedding in Santa Fe, which shouldn't have been an issue except that my hotel didn't have internet the entire time I was there. They kept saying they were working on it, but that's a long time so I half-suspect they didn't pay their bill or something. Between two hotels I chose the one that wasn't the Motel 6 thinking it would be nicer, boy was I wrong.
