Healing outside of combat:
When using Cure spells, channels or potions to heal characters outside of combat, assume that the effect is maximized. Healing while in combat works the same. When in combat, you are rushed and have to react quickly. While outside of combat, you can take the proper amount of time to get the most out of the healing.

Age and Retirement:
Since this game has the potential to go on for years or even decades, age will be a factor. Most of you will probably go up an age category within the time span of this game (since most of you are playing humans). Time will speed up as we reach the kingdom building stage of the game since a single kingdom turn takes 1 month of in-game time. So keep that in mind when tracking the age of your character.

In this case, you can retire a character and start a new one of you feel that your character should be staying home and dealing with their family/responsibilities/retiring and running a horse ranch, etc.

Family and Relationships:
Since this game is one that will last years and you will have a home that you can settle into. Your characters can develop relationships with NPCs or other PCs. If so, they can marry and have children. It's up to you. In fact, if the game goes on long enough, you can play one of your PC's kids when they grow up.
