Edit: In case it matters at all, I forgot to apply the +4 bonus to Initiative from Improved Initiative to the character sheet. You might've noticed that, you might've not, just thought I might say.

Edit: Is throwing a rock at the big stinky thing alright? Or would I need to risk my life in that dastardly tree?

Yes I added improved initiative to your stats. I've got my own little quick reference table in a secret thread with your most used stats .

You can throw a rock at it for sure, same range increments though (10ft) and let's say it does 1d2 damage? A sling does 1d3 but hurls them at a much higher speed.

Muggins it is usually a -2 penalty to hit for every range increment over the first. So a shortbow going 61ft is -2 to hit, but one going 60ft is no penalty.

And yes you would get BAB+DEX (-2 for being further than 10ft) on your throw, and you also get to add STR to the damage!
