Take that however you will. ![]() Remember, if I leave the worst parts to other peoples' imaginations I am not violating my own rules!

Indeed. Quite a night.
In the interest of learning more about my fellow players, I have questions. Well, just one question to start off with. What type of characters do you guys like to play? Sneaky sneaks? Well read and erudite? |

I believe I am capable of playing any type of character. In general I go with a skillful one, though that doesn't always mean sneaky. If I had to pick a generally favorite class combination it would be fighter/rogue. I think I'm going to try to lobby for at least a partial caster in this game. Something like fighter//rogue/sorcerer or something, though that is not at all a certainty.

This is my first gestalt game, so I lack quite a bit of knowledge about those combinations. Generally, I tend to go for rogue characters and archetypes more often than wizards and such.

Ditto on congrats!
As for my characters, I play all sorts of things, though they're generally female, and they generally have an attitude. ![]()

Thanks guys!
I haven't even looked at the gunslinger class yet, perhaps I ought to do that.

I wonder how the alchemist/fighter would be together. Plus, maybe the fighter/ranger as well?
By the way, is that Dwayne Johnson in 'The Rundown'? |

No, it is Dwayne Johnson in Journey 2: The Mysterios Island.
The Figher/Ranger would have a ton of feats true, but a lot of the things from both classes overlap otherwise. Both have high BAB, Fort save, and Hit Dice. It is generally considered more efficient to combine classes that both are synergistic, for example the benefit of a high charisma to a paladin and sorcerer, and offer a good mix of abilities that aren't duplicated between them. Rogue/Ranger would be a good match, Paladin/Bard also meshes well, especially for RP purposes. Imagine a great warrior writing stories about himself and releasing them to the public under a pen name. He would also make a really great party face. Monk/Cleric both use Wisdom heavily. Barbarian/Rogue can dish out a crapton of damage in melee with sneak raging power attacks.

Thank you so much. Plus, I thought it seemed different, but the background reminded me of that movie. |

I think I need to spend some time staring at the SRD, but I don't think I have the attention span for it now.
Can any of you tell me how a party of six is likely to divide up "party roles"? I'm used to a group of four or five at most, so it's bound to be different. Especially in this scenario, where we're all supposed to be combat-trained in general arse-kickery, with a focus on search-and-destroy-banish tactics against Immortals.

How you divide up roles is for you to decide, intentionally so.

I know Aeternis mentioned that the party needed to have one skill monkey, one/support healer, and one stealth specialist as well. I'm guessing the three rest could be all out combat whether ranged or melee.
