Unfortunately, the curse continues. I just recieved word this afternoon that Naresh has had a bit of a health scare - he's expected to be all right, but he sent word that he will probably not be well enough in time to participate. Kudos to him for the presicence to pass the word, that was a classy move, but it still puts us in the position of one man down.

Sometimes I think the fates themselves stand opposed to me.

I am considering reworking my encounters to run with five, rather than run through the whole locating a sixth process (again). Opinions would be welcomed.

Sweet! It's been a while since we've played in a game together ridin. You've DMed me, I'm DMing you, but playing together hasn't happened for a loooong time. Remember AngryIrish and your druid, Seitheach? That was one of the first, longish lasting games I ever got into on here. Heck, that was literally your second day on the site. Wow. Looking at my app for that game makes me marvel at the differences in my writing between then and now.

Yeah you mentioned that you had met him at some point. I wish he were still around on here, he started running a game right after my mom passed away that was super and allowed me to explore some of the emotions that I couldn't easily express. I did not know that he sold shoes, and never would have guessed that.

Aeternis, the 5 or 6 player thing is really up to you. Do you want to put in the extra work to fiddle with all the encounters and adjust them to a 5 person team, or do you want to put in the extra work to find a 6th player?

I'm open to whatever you're in the mood for, Aeternis. From my perspective it doesn't really matter whether we're five or six, as long as a group of five isn't going to get slaughtered outright. (That might be a bit of a waste.)

All right, things at work are cooling down a bit as we wind down the release that's boiled my brain for a month. As such, I am going to try to get this game off the ground.

A few stipulations:

(1) If you've been invited to this game and are still interested, let me know, I will be making a list and filling the remaining slots with applications to expedite the process.

(2) DM posts will probably be 1-2/week most of the time. I trust that's not too fast for anyone. I will try not to devolve into Toad` DM scheduling, but my job will still have to come first sometimes, for obvious reasons.

(3) If applications are necessary, I will allow ten days to two weeks of time. Once I pick people, the game thread will go up one week after the application closes, if not sooner. That is a promise, a solemn vow that you should all hold me to mercilessly.

(4) The application thread, if needed, will go up no sooner than Memorial Day (Monday) and no later than Release Day (Next Sunday). As with #3, this is a promise I should be mercilessly held to keeping.
