Good to see you checking in. I'm still on schedule as per the schedule I posted a little ways up, to give you a good idea of when I plan to drop the game thread. I have an appthread out there to fill the gaps, which right now are one.

Sifer, if you have any ideas on what you want to play let me know in the character planning thread.

I apologize to all who were interested in this project, but at this time I am going to call it officially suspended. It has been unoficailly suspended for some time. My new job is less time consuming and stressful than my ill-fated last one, but I am adjusting to a new schedule and at this time I don't think I can put the energy into this project it deserves.

I do hope to run this game someday, hopefully soon. I am sorry that I have let you all down. I greatly underestimated the time and attention requirements that starting this game would require.

Well, I'll still be here when you get back, I'm sure. I'd still like to play this, hopefully before we play with the setting in Continuum. I liked my character enough to keep her around.

I think that currently my limit is 2 games as DM and 2-3 slowish games as a player. (This does not include any games where Toad` is DM, because I can't describe his post rate without a Halley's Comet comparison) I am curious as to what posessed me to think I was capable of more than that.

3 as DM and... 5 as a player? Depends on what you count.

I'll likely still be around if you get the time to pick this back up. I was nervous about checking this game because I thought you might be picking it back up right now. I'm not sure I have the time at the moment to give a game like this enough of my energy to be worthwhile. I have somehow managed put myself under a considerable game load.

EDIT: 'Considerable Game Load' = Running 2 games and playing in 15. That is not counting the two games I'm in that Toad` is running, as updated them at best once a month doesn't really hamper my posting elsewhere. Also, I'm an Admin and all that comes with that.

Since I conveniently have you both in the same thread, could you tell me what the time drain of Iron DM is likely to be? I still have a day or two to post if I desire, but I'm not sure how much time it'd take me in a month I would be hard pressed for any decent amount of spare time. (I always want to participate, I just never seem to have the time.)

Crap, apologies for not seeing this sooner. Round 0 just closed today.

I will say that the day that you have to write up your entry never has enough hours in it. The format, once past round 0, is that everyone is paired up with someone, and you give your available times and the chairman sets up a match for you. You have 24 from the time the match is posted to write up your adventure and get it posted. So the time constraint isn't terrible, except during those 24 hours. There's usually a week or so between rounds, so it's not terrible.

Well, it's too late now, and since I'm behind on my word count for National Novel Writing Month, it's probably best that I didn't join in. Maybe next year.
