 ... I really hope picking Epic doesn't bite me in the ass. I have pretty much all my resources still, so am happy enough to continue on. You guys need to take a rest?

I agree, but it's what Abi would pick! I did briefly have the thought of your book automatically advancing you to 20th level while mine only gives me a +1 on a knowledge check...
By "take a rest" do you mean have our characters camp for the night? I can do that or keep going. How long has passed in-game?

Not long, only about an hour or two I think. The only real question is if you used up daily stuff enough to be worth pausing to regain them. I have used 1 channel and 1 fire bolt, so I am pretty good to continue.
And looks like you got your book on SCIENCE. Is this SCIENCE in the same vein as Girl Genius?

They can pretty much nom on whatever organic material is around. It doesn't taste like anything, they only feel the texture.
