Well I guess I would say, your all independent characters with free will. I have no idea, what lies ahead... really I don't. I literally go from post to post. I don't see a rogue or a pretty bard being in the midst of battle between thousands of classing foes. Sometimes it will make sense for some characters to group and make a party. Sometimes it wont. If your character wants to or would go a separate way, by all means go a down a different path. I enjoy complexity, and the PC's will shape the campaign. I know the three knights might not understand, but they will in time. I would say at the moment there is one character that has a very difficult choice to make. Their one choice will directly effect the campaign. I don't plan ahead for a reason. I make characters that we all interact with. Some you'll hate (Corwin!!!) some you wont know well enough. I guess my point is that you are all playing an unscripted role playing game, where all the characters including the NPCs are constantly being forced to make decisions. I am just as curious as you Macross! So sit back enjoy and role-play, and if you are not having fun or being entertained speak up. |

Thanks for the clarification. With such detail thought out on the rules modifications, I wasn't sure if there was also an overall plot in play as well.

Good I like the freeform. I feel too often GM's have a set story in mind and will do all in their power to funnel you towards it.

Oh...and for those of you who don't know, thuglife and I know each other and go waaay back to little kids. So if you see us jab at each other don't be alarmed lol. We started DnD together in my basement and fantasizing about being in the game and hitting the neighborhood kids with wiffel ball bats saying they were kobolds.

K Thread 2 whats up? Should I be giving your group a bigger push, like carrot style leading?
I kid, but seriously though how can I help move you guys along? Last edited by Jat; Jul 1st, 2012 at 03:03 AM. |

I'm holding up on Thread 2 because I'm trying to respect the post order - don't like leaving people behind, so I'm waiting on dbaque.

Cool, Cool I think Dbaque isn't a weekend poster. Which means i'll step up the "force push" on Thursday night giving you guys a nice large amount to do on Friday.

In all honesty I could sustain a faster post rate, but I'm being polite and trying not to overrun the rest of my group as it isn't fair to leave players in the dust.

And just as a disclaimer, I've never played as a female character before, so if Damara acts overly tomboyish, its because its all I know
And crow, I'm glad I talked you into joining the sight brotha, wel be crushing kobolds again in no time
