Hey, so I've cursed my weapons like you asked and I gave them a minor positive and a minor/medium negative effect.
Here you go: Cursed Rapier: (AKA Rapier of the Ghostslayer) Meowgi's Rapier was infused with a curse as Meowgi got cursed himself, now if Meowgi uses the Rapier to fight, he can attack Non-physical enemies, such as ghosts, however, if he succeeds in defeating a Non-physical enemy, he recieves 1d10 damage from the aftershock. Cursed Crossbow (A.K.A: Crossbow if Incandescence): Meowgi's crossbow is a Heavy Repeating Crossbow, it was also infused with a curse of it's own, Now, if a bolt fired by his crossbow exceeds 75 ft. after being shot out, it will ignite for 1d4 minutes, this fire is harmless, and the bolt is still counted as a regular bolt, however, It's damage is halved, but it illuminates up to 25 ft. around itself, and can Ignite any flammable material (See "Spark") Last edited by Hanz; May 4th, 2013 at 02:57 AM. |

Glad to be here! But man, I feel weird to be in a party without a single human lol.
As for my cursed item, I think the only choice we have is to curse Pocus' Arcane Bound ring-- after all he's probably going to discard/give away his mithral shirt, short sword, and whatever other rogue equipments he starts with pretty soon. Here's my idea: Cursed Ring of Protection (Sometimes-wondrous Ring of Protection): Basically this ring works a lot like a wand/rod of wonders, and it has a 50% chance of activating a random effect whenever Pocus took damage from a direct attack from somebody. As an addition, Pocus can also activate it willingly and target somebody as a standard action with a 50% success rate. Edit: Whenever Pocus was struck critically, the ring will activate and produce a random effect. Additionally, Pocus can also attempt to activate it willingly as a standard action. (Magic Device Check DC15) The random effect is also triggered when Pocus uses his Arcane Bond extra spell.
For reference: Stone Call Sheet Lightning Invisibility Slow Darkness Detect Thoughts Daylight Cure Moderate Wounds Edit: That should be finalized, let me know if balancing is needed? Though I also have a question about Pocus' spells, does he actually starts with any spells memorized, or do I need to burn a Spell Mastery feat in order for him to have anything aside from Read Magic lol? Erwyn is a human!! Or at least, he used to be :/
As for his cursed item: Erwyn's Defender Offender, (+1 Heavy Wooden Shield of Bashing) which he always used to smack down any Croc who thought it was a good idea to rush him, has taken on some of the personality of the beasts. Every time Erwyn goes to bash with it, the image of a crocodile appears in the shield's surface and cheekily says "Rawr!" to his opponent. If the bash misses, a muddy river appears in the background of the image, which the croc turns tail and flees into. If the crocodile flees, the shield loses its Bashing property until it feels like coming back out, which is generally 1d6 rounds later.

Fon: I will make two changes to your ring! It applies when you're struck critically, not when just normally attacked. Otherwise it'd be spewing magic everywhere. Pshewww! As for using the item, it'll be a Use Magic Device check! DC15, for the sake of comedy.
For your spells, we will say that you have taken to jotting down the strange things that pop into your brain at night. These things never happened before, it's very odd! Setting wise, it's been about three days since the attack, so you'll have a minimal compliment of spells and nothing else. You'll need to pick up more as you go along. Pocus' Journal, Page 43: There were a bunch of weird lights in the sky. And now my brain feels like pudding. Pocus' Journal, page 44: I MADE THE SPARKS GO EVERYWHERE! *magic missile formulae* -------------- Hanz: If you could do the embedded sheet, that'd be faboo. Makes it nice when I can have them all on the same page. Erwyn: So! Dunno if you've played with me, but I disdain the oddities that are auxiliary attacks! Instead, you shall have!
Also, a thing for people.

@Grundz
Oh yeah, now Jerry is a human... Does that make our party child-kidnapping monsters? :o @Fragmaster01 About his cursed item: I'm fine with the change, but in that case the ring will very rarely activate (since Pocus will stop trying to use it once he felt a negative effect from it.) What about we add one more trigger for it: the ring activates too whenever Pocus uses his Arcane Bond Object class feature to cast his daily extra spell? Pocus' Journal, page 46: I was able to lock a door and hold it shut with my MIND! By doing... *scribbles of Hold Portal spell* ... but now I'm stuck in my room, somebody HALP! Pocus' Journal, page 47: I managed to burn the door (and the house) down with another fire magick. I... I think I'm a wizard now! Like Milan! SO COOL! Incidentally how many spells exactly is "minimal compliment"? Four cantrips, one level 1 spell, and one level 2 spell? Or are you going to be a bit more generous, like three level 1 spells and two level 2 spells? :3 (I think I'll want Pocus to start with Hold Portal anyway, I think it's hilarious to have the one of the most useless spell as his starting spell! lol) |

Fon: That sounds like a good thing, yeah. When used for Arcane Bond, shenanigans.
Minimal compliment means that whatever your spells/day turns out to be, from class levels and INT, that's the number of spells you have.

When character sheets are reasonably done! Which means I'll have an initial post up today, but you won't get to go anywhere until everyone's real. That'll be your opportunity to stare at the slackers with eyes of fire.

Aaand, my character sheet is done! Yes, he's carrying more than he should be carrying (one of the first things he's going to do in-game is to get rid of the ropes, grappling hook, the masterwork shortswords, and that mithral armor...) He also has a lot of skill points in bunch of rogue-ish skills, instead of the useful knowledge skills that a wizard should be taking (one of the side effects of Class Swap.) And finally he wasted a spellslot on Hold Portal!
This is going to be GREAT! :3 ... Now all we need is to wait for Caput to finish his character sheet! |
