Looking through the racial feats, I note that there is one that makes Kobolds more likable to other races, simply by making them shiny. That's very odd. Perhaps the humans think kobolds are like a pokemon or something, and the shiny ones are rare?

@Frag
lol Feline Spellbook is a custom feat you made, Frag, near the very beginning. Funnily your mental image is close enough, except that Pocus is supposed to use his own fur instead. Perhaps that feat cause the kobold to be drawn in chibi style or some sort of cute style, man, those artists. Also the academics suck, don't they have any arguments against Team Villain? D: |

I'm thinking after that recent tirade that Erwyn should take a level in barbarian and the Improved Overrun feat. Also, I fear my watching too much Deadwood recently will turn him into the Al Swearengen of the party. I already intended him to be a disinterested yet protective anti-hero, but making him a 'bad guy' too? He's due for Swidgenization.

I think we'll soon see how much a jerk the bad guys are, and then we can quit or something? I blame the good guys (or neutral guys, whatever the academics are) being too passive D:

See, the problem is that everyone in this setting is a jerk, they're just jerks in different ways. The villains are good-natured, but horribly violent when it comes to people who oppose their will. The heroes are passive and don't give a **** about the racist jerks running things, but at least they try to treat people with dignity. Pick your poison.
If nothing else, and you decide that the villains aren't in your best interest, you'll have gained lots of info about them in your time being an unwitting spy for yourself or something.

I personally am more for the "Revolutionary" party.
So far, All I've seen conducted by whom we were lead to believe were the "good guys" was just being Fatty Academics with "Ugh" Attitudes. Personally, if Princess Adrenaline Represents the so-called "Bad guys", She has me sold ![]() I'll stick with them for now... |

I'm actually just playing Pocus as how he would react, after all, the villains did turn his family into nonsensical stuff, and Pocus actually cared about them... well, mostly his sister, but still. Plus in his eyes the villains are just as oppressive, if not more than the old society; at least the heroes didn't threaten to put a curse on him for not joining, and they did protect the citizens instead of... well, ruling with an iron fist or something, I guess.
So if Pocus actually sees the villains doing enough good deeds to justify cursing every hero, including cursing his family, as well as ruling people with an iron fist, then perhaps Pocus would maybe side with them happily and voluntarily. Alternatively Pocus can also be made to comply with sufficient threats and peer pressure, which is exactly what's going on with him right now. Pocus is sort of being nice and not-TOO-aggressive, because he IS scared of Admaria. All in all I'm just playing based on what I think would make sense for Pocus (and whatever that makes a better story, I guess). I know he's being a little melodramatic right now, and is perhaps making people feeling guilty or something, but just remember, Fon and Pocus are two completely different people lol. (Unless it's actually TOO melodramatic, then I would tone down a bit more. I do try to be a team player.) (And I was going to say that Princess Admaria has good charisma but... hey, look! It's my turn to post!) |
