I'm tempted to just assume the remaining people sign and move on for the sake of not holding the plot over on a Nondisclosure Agreement.
It might well be the silliest thing I've put into the game. |

I kind of liked it! I thought it was fitting.

Fitting, yes! But doesn't keep it from being a little silly.
Though it wasn't a EULA on a Warforged. I should totally add that in later. |

I think that EULA should be a shrink-wrap license ("break the wrap, you implicitly agree").
I liked the NDA, it might seem silly, but it sets a tone. If the tone is wrong, then maybe it's silly, but if the tone is right -- and I get the feeling that it's right -- it was possibly one of the more effective devices I've seen. |

If I had thought of it first, I would have had the baron of House Medani give you guys one in your dealings with him. He's not going to just spill the dragon-beans without some assurances that you aren't just going to take the information and sell it to the press, hehe. Same boat, right?

Hey, House Sivis has to make their money SOMEWHERE.
But I mean, there's references in the books as to how part of paying for membership to an adventuring guild includes access to lawyers for when you inevitably get sued. |

Yeah, I use "charters" a lot for some of that. You can't go adventuring outside of Breland and bring in artifacts and such without one, else you'll be fined or locked up for smuggling. I enjoy the legal implications.

They issue those for adventuring in Xendrick and Sharn, but not a lot of other places.
I did like the NDA thing. It did nicely set the tone.

I will get a post up tonight...been struggling with some health issues the past two days. You could move ahead without my post though since all I planned was that Oswin would sign the document.

Not a problem; recovering from illness is always an important thing.
Knowing that you were just going to sign the document, I'll put up a post, so that you'll have more to work with! |

Deniel, of course, scribbled an utterly lax version of his name so that if asked, he can honestly say that no, it is not his signature.
![]() And whoa - Eberron has checks? Seriously? ![]() Does a gallifer = a gold?

Yes! Eberron has cheques! Notarized by House Sivis and cashable at any House Kundurak location. Large amounts of coin would probably take some time to prepare the money though. This is not large in the grand scheme of things; it is just over what the average skilled laborer would have in a year, though.
As for coins, I may use the "in lore" terms at times, depending on what I think will sound better. Thankfully, they're alliterative for the most part. Platinum - Dragon: rare, minted with an image of a powerful ancient dragon typically. 100 Galifar = 1 Platinum Dragon Gold - Galifar: minted with a picture of Galifar I, founder of the old kingdom of Galifar. 10 Sovereign = 1 Galifar Silver - Sovereign: minted with a picture of a sovereign, usually the (current) living sovereign of the nation. So in Breland, fresh ones are minted with an image of King Boranel, older ones might have King Boranex or King Wroann or the like. 10 Crown = 1 Sovereign Copper - Crown: minted with a picture of a crown. There are also local specific coins, like the Breland Double Crown, BUT I WILL NEVER USE THESE FOR THE SAKE OF OUR SANITY. |

Silly question, but are galifaran coins ridged on the edges?
