Pretty sure Ghost Sound doesn't allow you to amplify your voice. It just makes noise. Ventriloquism is the spell for sending your voice out but doesn't amplify it. Clarion Call is the one for shouting over the entire battlefield.

Simply shouting should get the message across though. Then again, who in their right mind would stand just inside a building as they get attacked by a four armed ape when there are allies outside? He'll come out without our characters yelling at him, I'm sure.

meh, so he creates the sound of 8x4, 32 humans shouting a single message...It's simply a matter of all the humans sound just like finieous and the descriptive wording of the post.

GrassMonkey - Building A16 is more than 120 feet away. I'm going to assume you meant the second A8 building, which Finieous would be able to get to. Also, Silent Image has a duration of "concentration". It would dissapeared when he changed into the pixie. Ghost Sound used that way is perfectly fine.

Cool, then a8 as long as he can monitor the battlefield, he will move closer next round then.

As for the illusions, he has the effortless trickery feat which allows him to maintain concentration on a single illusion spell as a swift action instead of as a standard action which allows him to take other standard actions without breaking concentration on the illusion. He can maintain 1 illusion in this method continuously for the entire day if he needs to.

The reason casting a spell breaks concentration on a spell, is because it uses up your standard action for the round and maintaining concentration is normally a standard action.

So, here is the plan which Finieous will be coordinating through the use of last for 8 roundsghost sound as the battle progresses.

If it is even needed after the monks show of force,... Holy Rusted Dice Bag Batmonk!!!

Once the monk has put some spce between him and the Garrilon, Finieous will be "summoning" This guy to block off the apeman.



Along with this image, and in front of the image for everyone else will be multiple targets that he will calculate line of sight point of aim and tragectory for and adjust them as the beast moves. He has a 22 intelligence so these calculations are automatic for him..



He will be giving instructions that everyone knows to ignore the sights and sounds of the illusion and focus only on their designated targets which will remain between them, the illusionary worm, and the ape.

After that it is just another day at the shooting range.

Sweet, ok cool. I played MtG for like a year like 12-13 years ago.. Didn't work out for me because of the cost of collecting the cards so I kindof gave up on it.

Ghost Sound only produces one type of sound and cannot be changed once made. Since you initiated the sound as shouting human voices, that sound will continue until the duration of the spell is complete.

The more I look at the spell description, I'm going to have to agree with Rekal about using the spell for intelligent speech. Ghost Sound says: "Thus, talking, singing, shouting, walking, marching, or running sounds can be created." Talking and being able to make intelligent speech through the sound are completely different things.

Silent Image only allows you to create the image of a single object, creature or force. Not multiple images. If it did, there would no need for Mirror Image as a defensive spell. You can create the image of the wyrm, but not the target becuase that would be two different things.

Major Image, meaning he will be casting major image, (sound smell and thermal elements are important here ) and too easy, the targets are literally painted on the worms back, mind you where the ape can't see them...

Meh, nogo on the Ghost sound, that kinda sucks but ok fair enough. Message would do the same thing but he would need to have been able to see the whole party
