Selte moves behind the holy warrior, but keeps his eyes out as well as he can. He also watches for any religious iconography on the walls, while trying to think of any necromancers who might be in the area and why one would lurk in such a place as this.

Selte walking behind Shen you appear to be rather focused on the glowing crystals that seem to be placed at very regular intervals, about 10 feet apart. Doing this does give you the chance to figure them out, they are actually regular crystal that have had a pernament light spell cast upon them.
Shen walking down the stair, you also notice how the crystals are set and that the fixtures are old so chances are they have been there a long time.
The stairs open up to large room lined with stone coffin's, all of which are decorated with a crest or other symbol to show who sleeps there. These tombs all appear to be undisturbed and whole. You can see that there is an entrance to another section of the catacombs on each of the other walls.

Selte moves quietly, noting the crystals but not paying much attention to the them. These things seem to be a part of the crypts themselves, which is a relief.

He might make some cash selling them, but that would be the very theft they were here to investigate.

He sighs lightly, morals are a pain at times. And for all his talk and greedy thoughts his conscience is pretty strong about such things.

Keeping his eyes out, he continues moving toward their likely foes.

OOC How are you going to continue? Which of the three alternate paths are you going to go down. You have the stairs behind you and each of the three other walls have passages to other sections of the catacombs

"When in doubt," he says to Selte, "go left. Shall we Red?" He looks to Selte to see if he has any reason to object.

Selte nods, "Sounds good." And as they head left he keeps an eye on the other two passages, in case something wants to sneak up behind them.

As they move, Selte keeps his eyes open.

ooc Can I just have a kind of 'Passive' perception up, like taking 10 on perception? And if I say I pay attention to something in particular I roll for it? That would save the need for a perception roll per post. Dice perception: 1d20+3 (14)+3 Total = 17

OOC You can do that but that would only give you a 13 on your perception, could miss a lot doing that. You don't need to make one each post, just from 1 for each room, unless you are stopping to give further inspection. If you had a map of the catacombs this is about what it would look like

ooc Is that the actual map of the catacombs? You want us to RP ignorance, but use it as a guide?

OOC I'm good with rolling Perception when we change rooms. dragonfire, if you want to give us the map as it, can we just say that Donovan gave it to us?

OOC We will use this map, think of yourself as kind of drafting one out yourself as you explore so you don't get lost. Unfortunately this program is good for generating maps but can't modify them. I need to find some new programs
