Examing the magical aura you determine there to be something within the tomb possess something from the school of transmutation, its not a very strong aura so what ever it is would be of a lower spell within the school.

He gestures at the tomb, "Can you see if this Crypt has been opened? There is magic within, but it could just be some kind of item. Its strong enough to glow through a wooden door though, so its worth checking that it wasn't left here..."

When, not noticing anything suspicious you move to open the lib of the sarcophagus when it suddenly appears to come alive and a tenticle fly's out and slams the wall near you.

He opens it just a couple of inches and without warning a tentacle shots out towards him barely missing. Shen tries to Initiative = 13recover as quickly as possible from the surprise, yells at Selte "Look out Red!" and Attack = 11, Damage = 12attacks with his greatsword. Dice Rolls

"Oh, craa-" 'Red' manages as the tentacles fly!

He steps back even further, gathering power before launching it at the tentacle horror!

Initiative Order Creature Red Shen

Shen after the near miss the creature strikes out again tenicle coming even closer, Red shoots the creature with flames burning it, but the sudden burst of fire causes Shen's great sword to miss its mark.
Shen, the creature attacks you again but this time one of its tenicles hits you and you find that it is covered in this thick slimy goe and you are now stuck to it

"Damn tentacles..." He cries and then has a moment of inspiration. He scrapes his hands together, then pulls them slowly apart to form a ball of... goo? And rather than throwing it at teh creature, he launches it at Shen?

The greasy substance flows like a living thing until it has covered every inch of Shens armor, making him nearly impossible to hold!

ooc Using Grease on Shen. He gets +10 to escape artist and CMB to escape a grapple, and the same on his CMD to avoid being grappled again for the duration. OOC just to let you know that with this creature, once grappled the adhesive it secreates won't desolve until it is killed or unless a strong alcohol or universal solvant is used on it. And grapple cannot be broken as long as adhisive is still there

OOC Just so I understand, the Grease spell Selte cast on me doesn't help me?

OOC Well it could cause you to loss grip in your weapon. I was kind of giving him a freebe in case he wants to change his action

OOC Ok, as I understand it it's Selte's turn and Shen goes afterwards. I'll wait for Selte to rethink his move and make my decision afterwards.

ooc I made the decision on the spot and will assume my character would too. The action stands, as useless as it was in retrospect.

OOC I was reading the "grappled" description to refresh my memory and it states "grappled creatures can take no action that requires two hands to perform." So I take it I can't use my greatsword but I could use my dagger?
