Really looking forward to working with you all. Adamah seems to have put together a great story, so let's do what we can to make it epic. Who knows, maybe there'll be a book or movie made out of it

Quick off the mark guys, I like it. Zero just wanted to point you in the direction of the Character Thread when you get a chance fill out the form and drop your character sheet into it. You're not behind by any means, I just wanted to give you a heads up. ManicMonkey too when you see this stuff. I'm not expecting character sheets to be in for a few days at least, so no rush. We can rp through this first part without them.
As a general overview, I'd like you each to post at least once per day. If you can't make a post let me know, no biggie, just like to be kept in the loop. If a few days go by and I don't hear from one of you then I'll just keep it going without you and you can catch up when you make it back. If you have any questions feel free to pm me or post them here at any time. |

FYI- I slow down on weekends. Mainly fri and sat, till sunday night. Thou I might be able to post from my phone, so if needed I can post something short and sweet to move things along.

Yeah, I've got the character sheet all made up, just haven't gotten around to posting it in the character thread yet. I'll get on that ASAP though.

Cool, no problem for either of you. I can slow down somewhat on the weekends myself. For instance, there's a good chance I won't be making any posts from this friday until monday because I'll be traveling. I'll try to though, I should have internet access.

I as well am not typically on over the weekend, but can be from time to time. I do have my character sheet created and ready to go. Main problem for me is Monday and Thursdays I can only post from my phone until later at night (client internet is locked down) but I will be sure to log in on those nights to keep up and make my posts.

Cool, sounds good. If you want to go ahead and make your introductory post in the game thread and upload your character sheet later that's fine, or if you'd rather wait until later to do both that works too. Good to hear from you, you guys are the first group so far that has all all "reported in" so to speak, so you are all well ahead of the curve.

Also everyone go ahead and and add those bonuses I've given as an actual +2 to the skill rank. Don't worry about it breaking the skill rank level cap.

Does it make them class skills too?

No. It's not so important to you guys, but some of the bump ups I gave one of the other groups was a trained only skill and I didn't want them having to put skill points into a skill they didn't want to take, and it was necessary that they at least be able to use the skill.

Plans
I probably should have asked this before we started, but how far are we looking to go with this campaign, in terms of levels? Just curious as to whether or not I should start planning for future builds :-)

Well I have backstory and villains sketched out all the way to CR20+ ultimate baddies (in fact, I probably know more about those guys than who are the CR12-15 bad guys). At the moment I have a pretty good handle on what my life will most likely be like for the next 2 years as I finish grad school, so I don't anticipate having to cancel anytime soon.
I have a very Final Fantasy style approach to DMing my games. For the first few levels you guys are fairly railroaded into a plot with not a whole lot of choice of ultimate direction. After that I like to have an overall world sketched out for you guys to play around in and a means to get from point A to point B and a list of interconnected problems that need solving. So what I'm trying to say is that it's up to you guys, see if you enjoy what I put in front of you for now, we'll just keep lines of communication open to make sure everyone's having fun and hopefully this'll turn into something epic. |
