So, how did everyone come up with the idea for their character?

I chose mine because I like versatility; I'm drawn to builds with spellcasting and a decent number of skills.

Well, I played an Oracle in a one-shot a few weeks ago, and I really liked it. So I thought I'd try using her in a longer, more involved story arc.

The name of my character, is something along the Finnish word for Madness, and I used it as a name for my Death Knight in World of Warcraft. The last name, just made sense for holding onto it as a mockery of the light almost, but perhaps there's a deeper meaning to that "Lightbringer." We shall see.

The character's concept, is just something I thought up as I read over the details about an anti-paladin, and it's fall from grace.. I had a few short stories about an ex-paladin, but not an "anti-paladin" so I had ideas for the previous life, and a corrupt order. The overall story just came to me as I made it.

The build for the character, I'm still not certain on, but I've always wanted to try and play an Anti-Paladin... so that's the plan ^^.

Seems like your anti-paladin is halfway between the DnD 3.5 Paladins of Freedom and Slaughter, from Unearthed Arcana. My Detective is Neutral Good, so he should be OK with a little chaos, as long as you don't start hurting the local townsfolk.

Mad won't be killing or hurting any innocents, as long as they are not hindering her purposely. ^^ ( I've not seen much on 3.5's Variant classes... despite having played 3.5 for years before swapping to pathfinder. looks cool though.)

Mad is just an ex-paladin, that wasn't about to give up her powers she had gained from being so, not when there is still a corrupt order to demolish. And so she just so happens to end up stumbling on a means to keep her power, in a fashion at least. She may be a little messed up in the head, but not as bad as it could be. I think she'll make a good move forward kind of ally.

I know right! I usually don't like playing spellcasters, but for some reason I really liked playing her. She has the haunted curse. Which I sort of assume will mean she is horrifically clumsy.

Question to Gunner, when calculating character weight.. do you want me to calculate the starting Outfit/clothes your character gets. ^^ Just curious, I know some DMs don't bother taking it into account. That 8 lbs is becoming a hindrance lol

Beating corrupt Paladins is easy... just get them to do something undeniably Evil, and goodbye powers.

The Haunted curse is fun for RP.

That is assuming the god that granted the powers, didn't also break-bad. <.< But I hear you, still working on ideas for her background, I'd like to see if more of her story develops via gameplay too.

Don't worry about taking clothing into account when figuring out weight. Just armor and whatever you happen to be carrying.

I have taken a look at everyone's character sheets and I believe everything is in order. If everyone could please enter the Campaign ID (347) so that I can easily keep track of all the sheets in one place, I'd really appreciate it. Looking forward to playing with everyone!

Done. I took the "Fleet" feat which gives me a 25 movement rate and will eventually be able to stealth at 30' speed by like level 4 I think with the new rogue traits.

I got my idea essentially from The Hobbit depiction of a halfling. I am writting a story which starts in Toril about a halfling who is a master thief and stumbles upon an ancient artifact which teleports him to Krynn. There his outside influence unbalances the time line and he aids a young paladiness into bringing a golden age to Krynn, but dangerously brings Kynn to the boarder of a second cataclysm.

So I wanted to play Calin Hillsburrough from 1st level as a very "Well-to-do" halfling who is not a fighter type, but wants to follow in his father's footsteps and be a world renouned rogue and burgalur. He sees adventuring as a job and profession for him. His only shot at making something of himself. He does his the best job he can in the field, but he always preferm to be back in the comfort of his father's luxurious, underground home.

You were having the halfling start in Krynn? You know the campaign takes place in Faerun, right?

No. He's from Toril and when he's like 17th level accidently transports to Krynn and falls in love with a paladin who he helps (from the shadows) achieve her goal of an evil free world where food is free.

And I just discovered Pathfinder skills are different. I have them done now, just have to transfer from my main computer. ( I forgot to bring it. Long story. It's done propperly though.)

I have my whole build complete for this non-combat oriented magical halfling rogue.
