@TheMystic: pretty sure you CAN perform that action. You can do it with a Sap without the -4, but with an auto-hit it should work with a staff or the flat of a sword blade.

Saves for the unconscious will be kind of pointless, there are only two combatants still standing and they are knocked out for 5 rounds + the lingering effects of the spell, so they will not be coming around before the end of combat anyway. If you want you just need to take the coup de grace action and they will be out for an hour or more, reviving with the spells after effects and 1 HP.

Loot You can take all the equipment that was listed on each enemy. Some swords, shields, hand axes, and armor. It would take time to get the armor, but the weapons are easy to pick up. The dealer had two doses of dust, not as much as he should be carrying. A bottle of rot gut tucked in his coat, and a small purse of gp, just 25 gp, this must be his personal funds. The cane he was carrying was fairly ornate and the gold and silver in it alone would fetch a decent price. He also carried a small dagger on his belt, nothing fancy. He carries nothing with writing on it, not even identification papers, he was most likely illiterate. Only one of the human thugs carried identification and it was for a John Smith, likely not his real name.

I generally wait for everyone else to post, a significant reason to respond to someone else (Yashu isn't really a conversationalist, so no reason to post in this case), or one week.

Hey guys, been really busy the last few days. So i'll post my reply in the morn. Garret will take their coin, the cane and the dust for their troubles. He'll agree to leaving them the rest of their stuff though. Just in case someone wants to advance things.
