Alistair is done. I like what the suggestions are for the party and I look forward to the rival nobles thing. I took 3 traits, and one of them, wealthy, I saw once, remembered what it was and couldn't find it again. As I recalled, it added 900 gold to my total. I dont really need it, I just did it so I could afford my nobles clothing and a horse. If I misunderstood, I will be more than glad to change it , but for now its sleepytime. |

900 gp?? wow I only get 70gp total for my druid.
Also Mogg...you don't have any equipment, weapons, etc...or spells listed on his sheet. You are also missing any languages You also have 4 ranks in Knowledge history...you can't have more ranks in a skill than you have hit dice in Pathfinder...which in this case means only one rank per skill. †

It also looks like you short-changed Alistair by 4 ability points too, mogg. You used 30 of the 32 point build and looks like you didn't use your +2 to one ability score from being Human.
My sheet is almost done, I just need to finish up the rest of Lamont's non-combat related equipment. I have it linked in my profile but here is the link anywho: http://rpgcrossing.com/profiler/view.php?id=10308 |

Ravenor: I think you forgot to subtract your equipment cost form your gold. Not that you're in danger of running out :P How come you didn't get anything masterwork, though? Maybe you were just waiting to find the right dwarf-wannabe to do the job? :] (Yes, I can craft metal equipment for the party later on - I'll do it at-cost for the glory of Torag. Well, I can actually try it from the get-go, but I figure nobody has the money.)
You also get an additional skill point for picking your favored class (unless your favored class is something else you're planning to take). Last edited by Klomag; Mar 24th, 2010 at 08:27 PM. |

Ok I redid what I did last night.
I had some trouble with spell selection. I was really torn between Color Spray, Ray of Enfeeblement, Grease, and Charm Person. Also, I took point Blank shot and Precise shot, think I'd go with ray spells, since alot of my special destiny abilities have to do with re-rolls and crits. Is this a good idea or should I go a different direction. With 3.5 spells i know its doable , but with Pathfinder core Im not certain there are enough spells for it to be useful. |

I don't think those feats apply to rays, but I'll check again. The reason would be that the penalties they mask don't actually apply to rays. I'll take a look.
EDIT: Nevermind, I guess they're generally assumed valid choices. I'd clear it with Colatine, though, since the actual rules are not clear. Birched: On my character sheet, the Armor Check Penalty column is all messed up. Everything's still being calculated properly in the end, but every skill either has a 0 or a 3 (not -3). The ones with 3 are invariably INT skills that I have a point in. It's not a big deal since it's still making the calculations (though Swim is doubled, of course), but it is confusing. EDIT: They work again when the page is refreshed. I discovered the problem. Sorting the skills by any column (even clicking "Skill Name" to no change) causes the change. It's not permanent, even if I save. Weird. Last edited by Klomag; Mar 24th, 2010 at 08:42 PM. |

Well in Pathfinder you automatically get three bonus points to any class skill you put 1 rank into so that would explain the 0's or 3's you are seeing.

No, it's in the Check Pen column.

Link to your sheet?
EDIT: nm. found it. EDIT2: Those +3's are definitely in the CS mod ("Class Skill modifier") column. And your AC check column looks right, too. |

Ah... hm. It may be a browser thing; I use Chrome. Any time I click one of the categories to sort by, the armor check column changes to what I described. It happens when I'm looking at someone else's sheet, too (at least Lamont's).

That was the key -- there was a little bug in the sort function. Should be fixed now.

Perfect! You also fixed Swim; nice.

Yeah... in 3.5 swim had a doubled penalty, but after a thorough search of the core rulebook and the prd I concluded that that was gone in Pathfinder. It's the little details that get you!
