Yeah -- every time I picture one of my PCs walking around all over the place with a big backpack on his back, I think to myself... who would ever do that when they could have someone/something else carry it for them?!? I suppose a handcart would be almost as good (and a great prop... hmm... tempting...).

You know they have riding dogs...they can pull a small wagon or sled...and they fit better into dungeons...ummm

If I had enough cash I'd definately go that route with my gnome...maybe after a few adventures.

I guess mine works now, too. It kept showing one of the banner ads that shows up atop the site the day I first posted it.

I should have it posted by tomorrow night.

Huh, I must have been pretty dense because I didn't notice the new stuff was up until today. I've been checking in every day (pretty much), but just the OOC evidently. That's what I get for being busy, I guess.

Anyway, character sheet's posted and ready.

So we just need Mogg to finish up (I know you are having computer issues so no pressure ) and the DM to give us a game thread then we can rock and roll

Edit: Ok just so y'all know I am flying out for Puerto Rico and then onto South America tomorrow (Monday, 29 March). I should have internet connectivity in most of my locations unless it goes down (which has happened in the past). Except for days that I am sitting in an airplane I should be able to post. I will be back state side around 8 April.

So to recap, for our party-

Alistair and Lamont are at a party one day and get to discussing the new push to civilize the wilderness and we find out we both intend to go try our hand.

Alistair realizes that going head to head with Lamont would cause the two of them to dry their coffers rather quickly in direct competition and open the door for outside interference.

With that, we both begin to make preparations to go- Alistair hires Sartov and Karth, while you go recruit your blacksmith friend(Grannlaw) and get some loaner help through your connections with the guard(Stanley), and then we gather our forces together and head out.

Does Lamont have any ambitions of kinghood, ravenor? Are the two of us going to have internal power-struggles or d o we have a power share worked out?

First game post up! Another update tomorrow night. Please post your own goals for this game in the PC summary thread.

Player goals. Also, i'll ask for periodic nomination for extra XP for your colleagues from each of you.

I edited a bit of player goals into my post in the Heroes of the Frontier thread which is what I assumed you meant by PC summary.

I'll probably be a bit late in getting a post up as I don't think I have time tonight and I'm going to be indisposed for the great majority of tomorrow, but I'll probably be playing catch-up tomorrow night.

I'm say he'd rather see something accomplished over bickering on who should wear the crown. He might not be adverse to the idea at some point, but mostly just wants see the Greenbelt built up into a powerful nation in its own right. If somebody steps out of line in their duty that isn't to say he won't feel its his job to get in their face about it or step up and do it himself.

Should we make rolls in the game thread? Should we make things like knowledge rolls ourselves?
