I have added an entry in the Homebrew section about Archetypes:

Could the extra cash be used for armor instead of weapon?

I edited that part to be more clear. The extra gold can be for any 1 or 2 items. The only condition is that there should be some explanation for their source. They could be inherited/heirloom, a special project, the lady in the lake gave it to you, etc...

Do the flaws grant extra feats like in 3.5, or just extra traits?

A very complicated system. I have got lost a bit. Will complete my application and ask for help when I am doing the character sheet. Classes and Gestalt make sense but Spheres have sort of lost me. I see what they are but cannot see how to make them fit my build. I had this problem with 3.5e

Spheres can be a lot to take in at first but once you understand the basics it gets much simpler. The fundamental thing to get is that every Sphere has base abilities which are all added upon or modified with talents. You invest a talent in a Sphere and automatically gain its base abilities. You then spend talents to expand on what you can do with those base abilities.
Note that Spheres is optional so you don't have to use them if you don't want to.
