App Name: Yang Ozai Race: Human Class: Sun Soul Monk Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Background: Criminal Specialty: Enforcer/Arsonist Traits: I AM ALWAYS CALM, NO MATTER WHAT THE SITUATION... And definitely not volatile in anyway, shape and form. I never raise my voice or let my emotions control me. Never. Don't let others say otherwise! Extra Trait: I would rather make a new friend. But if I make a new enemy, I'm gonna show them how calm I really am! Ideal: People. I'm loyal to my friends, not to any ideals. Everyone else is beneath us. (Neutral) Bond: I have shamed myself in the eyes of those I trust. I wish to find redemption, something to redeem me from my nature Flaw: From my previous world, I have ruined the lives of many. And I had no remorse. I may not have remorse in this world too. Additional Flaw: I like to burn stuff all the time. I don't know why. Combat Flaw: Combustion. Everytime she used her Ki, her fire-energy sparks out, hurting the user with 1d4 fire DMG and lighting up any flammable objects within five feet of her Skill with anti-proficiency: Insight. She is easily trackable. She's got a one track mind most of the time. Appearance: Yang has a robust and athletic figure that bear tattoos on half her body. Not wearing much since her fighting style gives her the ability to fight practically naked. And has nicely manicured nails that are sharp enough to break skin and bones. Personality: Yang is.... Very unhinged. She's egotistical. She sees herself as above everyone else. And has a very weird fixation with fire and acorns. But is she a good person at heart? Yes, in some ways... Not really. She wants to be though. Other than her need to stroke her hubris and ego, she desires this thing called 'friendship'. An alien term for her, but something she desires for it is very lonely to he at the top. Backstory: Once, in a faraway land ruled by a tyrannical nation of fire, their was a princess. She was wicked, cruel, and nutty with power. She wielded the flame with dangerous potency. Upon to her detriment. In fact she had no control at all with her flames. Half of her kingdom burned down. Soon she was in chains, alone. Defeated by good heroes , and not by order of her father who has gotten sick of her antics. She was abandoned by her friends, though some might say it was deserved and they had better lives without her. But those are lies. They must be miserable by now. Her life in tatters with her one regret, her one regret was wondering if she deserved it? That maybe everything that led up to this point was her fault? Upon the eve of her execution, a streak of a burning comet blast through the skies. And before the axe met her neck, she felt it. A touch of great power coursing through her. Everything started to make sense. She has a destiny to fulfill, one of greatness and power. She must break free. But then her life was cut short. Not by the executioner's axe, but via a runaway cabbage cart. It ram straight to her rump and the next thing she knew it, she died and was sent to this world as she wished to the burning comet to have another do over. She cannot live with the fact she had a humiliating death. And so her wish was granted. And her soul was sent to another world! One where she can have a do over. One where she can change her ways, or continue to be an arsonist. Who can say? -What deity sent you to the new world? Ozai's Comet. Some sort of wish granting entity from the stars. -What gift did you ask them for to aid your journey? She didn't receive a gift. Instead it touched her with power. She now has new tattoos. Eldritch claw tattoos that is. -Why are you trying to be a hero? After her death and with this new start in her life, she has started to see that she's kind of a bad person. She wants to be someone different, to be a hero. Perhaps she won't feel alone in her final moments.

The combat flaw needs some changes.
While interesting, it won't have any impact until level 6, so in like a year from now due to PbP nature XD.
It also does not really sound like much of a flaw, as the wild magic table was designed to have moooostly positive effects.

Haha, yeah, been watching too much Avatar lately. But you got a good point, hmm, maybe it triggers with every Ki point spent. I'd have to roll d20's a lot to see if the surge kicks in of course. Oh, or Yang will focus only on flammable stuff and explosives. Like for every combat round she'll prioritize that and reason it as part of her grand strategy when in reality she just lacks compulsive control. Which one do you prefer?

Still doesn't change the fact that wild magic is a feature, not a drawback.
Maybe something with taking 1d4 fire damage with each Ki point spent, as flame is the source of her strength but she's too emotional to control it properly?

As I mentioned, it is a repeat of the same game, so the first chapter or two will be almost the same as last time. I would suggest going for something different.
