Appearance: image and description. Arashi-no stands at 5'9" with a thin, but muscular body. She has straight black hair that stretches to her shoulder. She has dark brown eyes and a golden skin tone. Her skin has rough scablike texture revealing the rough lifestyle of her youth. She has several scars covering her face and arms where serious injuries were healed without proper medical attention.

Age: 19

Backstory: Arashi is an orphan from the bad streets of sector 729 earth. Her parents were street hustlers involved with all sorts of crimes, until they were caught scamming a notorious crime boss. Arashi was ten years old when her parents were killed and with no other adult guardians, she lived on working labor jobs to care for her younger brother Takeda. The streets were rough and sector 729 was a violently criminal landscape forcing Arashi to defend herself against a diverse criminal element of the city. Arashi lost her brother three years later when he was caught in the crossfire of a government raid against the infamous Green Scorpion gang. Arashi and Takeda had been living in a storage unit at he gang's warehouse. The head of the government raid was Director Archon Tripp, a former commandant of the military academy. He took Arashi in following the tragedy after realizing she had advanced talents which could benefit the EDF with the proper training and discipline.

Director Tripp enrolled Arashi into an emersion course to prepare her academically for the Space Academy while also training her on martial arts to complement the hard knocks street brawling, she was used to. The commandant often spoke to the young street girl about the heroics of the mechanized soldiers, their exploits, and their comradery. The images of a team of close-knit friends that were like a family without being screwed up and together enduring the elements against them, appealed to Arashi. Although the government was able to remove Arashi from Sector 729, the young girl continued to struggle with her short temper, intolerance of idle conversations, and frequent scuffles.

Her entrance into the academy was mixed reviews with low academic scores mixed with high physical and martial skills. Her first three years duplicating her exam, her academic scores were passing though not scoring in the top half of the class. Her physical aptitude and martial training always scored within the top ten students. Arashi's behavior during the first year of the academy resulted in being on probation; constantly getting into fights with her fellow cadets. She applied for the MS program as a fighter because she was told that as a member of the group, she'd learn techniques to avoid snapping at little disagreements and would discover a family environment that she so longed for.
