Woooooooo. That was a lot.
Dramtis Personae has been updated to reflect almost the entirety of the crew aboard the Wormwood. Ships Maps, Rooms, and other Minutia has been updated with descriptions of each room, including any discoveries that have taken place to date. Finally, Day-to-Day Aboard a Pirate Ship has been tidied up quite a bit. I tried to clarify a lot around ship actions and skill rolls, including rewriting the examples entirely. I also described your nighttime actions in greater detail. So, yeah. That work is done. Let's play pirates!

If you choose rum over a day chained to the bulkhead in the bilge, go ahead and roll for the effects. My dice magic has not been kind to my players of late.

I didn't think this would come up, more the fool me. You can't take as starting equipment anything that is permanently attached to your body and provides a mechanical benefit. For instance, you can't have a spell tattoo.

Ice - Will the PCs recover from fatigue overnight if they choose to do some other nighttime activity? Or will they wake up fatigued again in the morning?

If they don't choose the sleep option and already have fatigue from work, they'll wake up in the morning fatigued. If they choose to take an additional ship's action as well as something other than sleeping, they run the risk of being exhausted. They can also sleep to cure any fatigue (including from the rum) then take an additional action, risking fatigue which they'd start the day with.

Important note, PCs are assumed to get enough sleep to not incur additional fatigue (and restore their spells) regardless. I.e. if you're not fatigued from work, choosing the Entertainment option doesn't run the risk of incurring fatigue. The fatigue from the rum ration is timed, so you'll always lose that penalty every night regardless of any other actions you take.

Welcome back from the holidays, everyone, and I hope you had great ones. I'm going to give Ysolde another day to act before I move us along, but then I'll set a firmer pace for a bit. I wanna get us a little further down the road before I head to CA in early January.

I take penalties for charisma, so I will leave social butterflying to those who are better.
I'll do a standard thing, and take a perception check to find out where the armory is. I'm going to want a bow someday. Sneak Make normal checks for a job's daily task and briefly explore one area of the ship. The PC can make a single [Perception] check or other skill check with no chance of detection.

Groovy Tuesday, let me see what I can come up with here.
Edit: I just realized the armory got left out of the map thread. That's on me. I'll update it after the games today. This is mostly important because the door to the armory is locked with a Good lock. Knowing that, do you still want to use your daily action to check out the armory? The Perception check (which was a success) wouldn't be entirely wasted but it's not overly useful, either, at the moment.
