@Torack & EMIW, I'm planning on getting a post up to move us along on Tuesday morning (US Mountain Time). Even if you don't have time to post, let me know where you guys want to go so you have a say.

Sorry, it's been a busy week so far, and I'm now not available until next week. But Palu would vote to go via her home village for the net.

Appreciate the update EMIW! IRL always comes first. All I ask is that you let us know.
Separately, game post is up! As I mentioned in the OOC section of the post, this will be the last round of posting in this scene, so ask any questions you have. I'll make one last wrap-up post in this scene, give you guys a bit of time to prepare for the journey now that you know a little bit more about what you're facing, and we'll all be off for a nice pleasant walk through the Iceveins.

Game post is up! Holding off on giving EMIW and Torack specific equipment until I see a character sheet from them.
Apologies for not having the equipment info ready to go. This week has been an absolute mess. Elanir, Demonslayer, krossingkhory, you all will be getting more information on your equipment in the next couple of days in your private threads. My aim is for a game post either Wednesday or Thursday of this week. I'm heading to a wedding and will be gone Thursday-Monday, so I want to make sure to get you one more update before then.

Great post, Nas! If anything, Ungalu has now more respect for Lothu. As for the magical items… they seem great and perfectly suited for their new owners. I am sure all characters will make great use of them.

Hi, sorry I haven't been able to get a post up for a while, things have been busy IRL. However I have linked to Palu's character sheet in the character thread, so hopefully that can help keep things moving, and I'll write a catch-up post as soon as I can.

Apart from ogling myself in the shininess of the new toy, I have nothing further to add to the current scene.

Post is up!
@EMIW, I'm traveling this weekend, but will give your sheet a look. I'll also use that time to start percolating on what magic item(s) the chieftains would have given you. Look out for those next week.

Concerning our marching order, I would suggest that squishy Ungalu not least because according to the Darkseer everything and everyone revolves around him and his prophecy!remains at the center.

As far as marching order goes, Galmath should be out front. He'd be really ashamed of himself if he wasn't.

I rolled a Nature check instead of Survival, and explained it as Uthal identifying natural phenomena and sharing some insights about it. Hope that's ok !
Concerning the marching order, I would either put Uthal in the second rank (right behind Uthal, so still very much on the front), or the back rank, defending the rear. Paladins actually, none at all!don't have a lot of ranged ability, so it makes sense to put them near where the action is. That said, it may be beneficial to spread out the clerics a little, at positions two and four. That would leave Uthal to defend the rear. On the other hand, having someone who's actually good at Perception in the rear makes sense, meaning one of the clerics. And a breath weapon works best in a tunnel if there's nobody between you and the target, so perhaps putting our dragonborn cleric at position four is not the best idea :P. By the way, Uthal knows Misty Step, so if necessary he can just teleport to wherever he is needed! |
