You're in the right spot!

Yes, you could use MapTools with a game here, as long as you made the players aware of this, preferably in the recruitment thread (ie. as early as possible)

If you don't want to make them depend on MapTools, you could probably screenshot the map, copy it to paint, save it as a .png and upload it here, consequently allowing players to tell you their moves, which you add in when you're doing up the round summary.

Any particular reason why you suggested saving the map as a .png vs a .jpg? Just wondering if PNGs have smaller file sizes or are prettier or if it matters at all?

.png's have smaller filesizes as far as I am aware.

In fact, there's another option - upload it to photobucket, imageshack or a similar site, and use the [img] tag to show it here.

I use the {img} tag a LOT when posting on BB that accept them, and I tend to use them for custom emoticons

This is your typical newbie's encounter in one of my r/l modules, the Pungeon of the Bare:

I don't know if this is the right area for the question, so im sry if it isnt. How do you make the spoiler button in your posts.

This is a perfect area to ask this question!

To make a spoilerbutton type the following:

[spoilerbutton=text]TEXT[/spoilerbutton]

and it will yield the following:

Kapeesh?

Is there anywhere I can find information why the game creation thread is locked?

I remember a feature when I first signed up allowing my online status to be hidden from everyone. I chose to display it, but I recall it stating that the decision could be changed in the future. I've been looking for an option somewhere to switch it, but I can't find it. I don't suppose you know where I could find it?

Please help!

My Account ---> Edit Options. It's the first option. It's called 'Use Invisible Mode', and has a ticky-box to it's left.

That was where I expected to find the option, myself. However, the first option I have when I go there is in the Login and Privacy tab and it's called Allow vCard Download. It has a breif explanation and a checkbox, but is the only option for me in the Login and Privacy tab.
