Ithamar, you know you can't make a full attack with a returning weapon. It returns to your hand "Just before the character's next turn." So unless you are using some variant I am not aware of, that is, 1 (two in your case) ranged attacks/round.

Yeah, we can have opportunities for that sort of thing. It is an actual campaign, after all. The setting doesn't end at the walls of the Colosseum.

My original plan to draw characters into the setting was the prizes for victory: after acquiring this custom Legacy weapon, honed to a unique discipline, to learn about it one would naturally seek out NPCs with that knowledge.

I'm not sure what I would do with a player who just wanted to do some RPing outside of the Colosseum, but we can work together on that. I simply haven't thought about it yet.

But just to be clear, this sort of thing will be done on a fairly limited basis: I have no intention of getting pulled into 9 one player campaigns, set simultaneously in my beloved Olothruul! I have to be realistic about how much time I have available for that sort of thing.

Here's one thing we can almost all RP together, outside the Arena: the gambling window!

I think I'll open a game thread where you can bet on the matches, using any wealth you may have left over. Your characters can visit the window, interact with the teller, and get rich! We will have odds as a function of character records. You can bet on your own matches, or those of others.
