Barely audible even unto himself, he whispers "They Shall Provide The Way, They Shall Provide The Way". The repeated words are immediately whipped up and away into the heavens, carried and escorted by the tremendous winds that encircle and pass through these craggy edifices. Concentration: Dice Roll:

Tsabo persevers on the slope, purely through his skill. The cold wind and the damp conditions however, shatter his resolve and the young monk finds himself teetering, despite his precise footing and expert manuevering. Finally negotiating his way down, without disaster, Tsabo clambers over the sharp stones to the smoother terrain beyond. His mantra seems to become natural, coming from his mouth like spent breath. The effect is that he does not even realize he is saying it anymore, and therefore it does little to focus his mind.
For the rest of the day, Tsabo makes poor progres, slowing considerably whenever some obstacle or barrier blocks his way. He is also forced to stop often, attempting to warm his extremities and prevent frostburn and similiar effects. By nightfall, the monk is still well above the tree line and the air temperature seems to have only dropped further during the day. Tsabo knows that without suitable shelter now, he might not survive another night. Make another Survival and a Fortitude save. Also add a Concentration check. I'm sure by now you are wishing you took some ranks in concentration. But why would a monk need that skill? It's not like he combat casts or anything. ![]()
