Eindric accepts Olian's words on face value, masking his mild surprise with a guise of casually curious interest.

When the Warlock finishes speaking Ein replies, It seemed to me that no deal was to be struck but that the caves were well defended and that "Fy" (as you so casually refer to her) is a more than capable guard with intention to remain as such. ‘Tis truth, there is no arrangement to secure Draminton or apparatus by which Fy may summon our aid. But by the same token, she hardly needs it.

Welcome to Draminton. Rebuilt from ash like a Phoenix city. If you would like a tour, I'm sure Timmy here can show you around.
What does the future hold for you Olian? There is much to do but a trip to Trendton is in my future. You are more than welcome to join me.
For the meanwhile, I invite you to partake of my hospitality. We'll get your clothes cleaned and repaired, you can take a bath, get a hot meal, and a comfortable sleep.
Also there will be a gathering tonight near the Inn where I'll have a room drawn for you. Nightly, whenever possible, the various captains and managers of Flying Es meet to discuss current and future events over dinner. You are welcome to attend. Fresh, intelligent input is always welcome and as I take you to be a neutral interest as well as honorable, I would be honored to have you as my guest. But I wont be offended if such a meeting seems tedious to you. Should you decline, the restaurant will provide for you as my guest.
Oh, one other thing. Not being local you do not know: There is some imposter going around posing as me. He engages in commerce and wholesale slaughter not to mention other devious acts. Should you encounter me and are unsure of my identity, have me sing a bit. Also, you will not likely find me alone. Be aware and know that he is dangerous. My advise to you would be to summon aid immediately should you find any imposters. He could pose as anyone but it especially irks me when he poses as me and it seems that I am a favorite target of his. Even before the statues. It is a dilemma I constantly struggle with.

Eindric makes his offer but still has a mind to walk among his people and chat with Teny. To those ends, he will have summoned an additional messenger to announce Olian Der'natal and afford him all comforts he desires. Realizing that something very important has been overlooked, he adds: And Olian, Thank you. I remain in your debt.

OOC: whoops, I forgot about the "Fy" thing. I didn't mean to do that. I couldn't remember how to spell her name then had to run out the door before I could fix it.

After the surgery and conversations take place in the temple, it is around midday when Eindric sets out to take care of his business. Teny and Nineye accompany him.
Guyate has already departed and Haggy as well.
As soon as Decagai can manage to stand on his own, he insists on heading back to work, rushing out with only a parting whisper of Eindric and a gesture of gratitude for Sandrel. Thank you great cleric, you have given me back my manhood and for that I am forever in your debt. Apollo has gained a new follower today. He drops a few coins in the donation box as he leaves the temple.
Timmy, a messenger who works for Flying E's steps up beside Olian and offers to take care of all of his needs.
Eindric reminds everyone that the Captain's Dinner takes place at sunset and the Council will meet immediately after that.
Sandrel leads Tyren into an adjacent temple, calling for food and similar facilities. Once the burden on the monk's shoulders had been lightened, his wearness and exhaustion shows through on his stoic face. The man looks as if he had not eaten or slept in many days, and only the sweet smell of the temple is able to dispell his body odor.

*Teny, do you do anything for the next couple of hours, besides follow Eindric? Olian, what do you do?*

Olian Der'natal

"After meeting with the dragon, I am as satisfied as you that the Artifact is secure. My only worry is that she may try to use it herself, as her metal guard seem to indicate that is her leaning." Olian says with a nod.

"It seems quite a setup you have here. I can see why you wish to protect it. I would like to attend the meeting you spoke of, it may lead me to my next destination."

Olian heads off, accepting the graciousness of Eindric in cleaning and repairing all of his gear. When that is finished he will take a tour of the city, necessarily quick due to the lenght of time it takes him to clean up.

Timmy takes Olian through Draminton city on the way to the Teamster's Lodge in the Flying E's compound. In the lodge, Timmy explains, you'll have whatever you require in order to clean up and prepare for your tour and this evening's meetings. Timmy shows the warlock the city's small financial district as well as thier main shopping area, known simply as the Promenade. Draminton is fairly large for a town, but as city's go it is not that spectacular. The towering cliff that looms over the city helps to make everything seem small in comparison, but everywhere they walk, Timmy is able to point out new constructions that speak of a bolder more impressive future for Draminton. The region's primary source of income is from tourism and travelers, and as such there are dozens of hotels and lodges, stables and so forth, but strangely there are only a few businesses dedicated to the field of transportation. And then the two men come around a building nearest the northwest corner of the city, not far from the main trail that leads up to the fairgrounds, far above the city.

The vibrant, sprawling compound that looks like a small city in it's own right, known as Flying E's, spreads out before them, climbing out of the long shadows cast by the rock wall that border's the city and compound on the north. Made of all new buildings of stone, wood and brick, the compound is dazzlingly beautifull as well as practical. No building is smaller than two stories or less than 20 feet on a side and people throng among the smooth stone paths in large groups. Tended gardens and plants line the walks and surround the buildings making each location seem a delight to attend. Timmy directs Olian to a large building that is nearest them as they walk southward along the compounds easternmost walk. The building known as the Teamster's Lodge is three stories tall and boasts large balconies on the second and third floors. There are dozens of horses hitched outside and throught the fine glass windows many people can be seen rushing around, working, milling about or just relaxing inside. A line of wagons and carriages moves slowly around the north side of the building, all heade to another complex of structures further back. Walking in the shadows of the cliff is very cold on this mid-autumn day, but once they step out into the sunlight, the warmth on thier skin more than makes up for the chill breeze. The smell of fresh hay and even fresher baked bread strikes thier senses and Olian can't help but water as he smells the pastries on the air.
As the two turn to walk along the wide, sculpted path, leading up to the lodge, a shrill whistle pierces the air from somewhere nearby. People all over immediately react, some dropping what they were doing, or leaping from wagons and horses, to head towards the sound, others gather their things and run in the opposite direction. It appears as if choas is abbout too break loose among the tranquil walks and fields of Flying E's. That's a security alarm! Timmy shouts, c'mon, we'll be safe in the restaurant, he calls over his shoulder as he starts to run further south along the path.

Teny had come with Eindric and Nineye to the Traveler's Lodge, to see Bertrude who's office is upstairs. Once Eindric had entered the bar area of the lodge, he came across his lead artisan, who was grieving the loss of his friend and colleage. Eindric decided to take the man aside and have a talk with him in private. He ordered Nineye to stay nearby and he went upstairs, leaving Teny with a alcoholic refreshment and a kiss. The bard and the artist went upstars, where there are private as well as public rooms. Moments later, both Teny and Nineye, standing near the stairs, with drinks in their hands, can hear a shrill blast, like a Flying E's whistle alarm, coming from directly above. The bar immediately erupts in choas as everyone tries to run in different directions at once.

At the whistle sound my heart jumps. I drop my drink where I satnd and draw steel. A quick glance at Nineye ensures that he is acting likewise. I would run to wherever I thought Eindric was at that moment or start looking for him. Spot

Olian Der'natal

Images of a dragon gone mad and tearing through the land with misbegotten technology flashes in Olian head because of the close proximity of their encounter with the dragon lady as the alarm tears through his head. He stops and stares about with wide eyes as his body tenses, searching for the source of Timmy's alarm

Nineye rushes up the stairs, drawing his sword as he goes, Teny close behind him. There are the sounds of many people in the hall upstairs and as they reach the second floor, Nineye pauses to listen for Eindric and a few men run past them on the stairs, others come rushing down the hall to try and push thier way into the large lounge room on the right side. One man is trying to open the door on Nineye's left side.

Neither Teny nor Nineye are able to determine which room the whistle had come from, evenas they hear it sounding again, from quite near. However, the man struggling with the door in front of them is suddenly aided by a larger man weilding a very big sword. Teny and Nineye suddenly recognize him as Decagai, and the door bursts open under his strength. Rushing inside, the group is just in time to see Eindric struggling against a taut rope that seems attached to his belt. The bard is unable to release it and the group can see him desperatelt trying to cut it off as he is pulled from the window and out of sight.

Olian watching the choas unfold, looks up at the second floor of the building in front of him when he hears the whistle's second blast and watches as a young man tumbles through one of the windows, somersaulting in mid air. The man is holding a rope, and as he rolls to a stop, he retains expert grip on the line. Even as the agile youth leaps aboard a nearby horse, Olian sees another man being pulled from the window. He recognizes the man as Eindric instantly. The bard performs a similiar roll as the other man had, coming to a stop with his harmonica in his mouth and the rope firmly gripped in both hands, Eindric is making the sound of the whistle on his harmonica and tugging on the rope, he seems attached to the rope at his waist.

As the seconds pass, the compund gets more and more orderly. Those people not considered combative are already gone from the scene, closing and locking doors, gates and windows all over the compound. Mounted soldiers are conveining on the area from a distance and others are rushing in on foot to contain the situation. Olian looks up again to see Nineye, Teny and Decagai peering out of the broken window, their weapons in hand. The mounted man who seems as if he is trying to kidnap Eindric, kicks his horse and spurs it towards the city of Draminton, tightening his rope around the saddle's pommel as Eindric is pulled off his feet and onto the stone walkway. Nineye pulls back on his bow and fires an arrow at the mounted man. Two other men who had seen and heard the commotioon fire arrows from balconies on the building and still more rush to try and block the kidnapper's escape.

Arrow shafts sprout from the fleeing man's back, he calls out in pain but he does not waiver in guiding his horse. The men trying to cut of his retreat are nearly baffled by the erratic riding the man dispays, but one of them manages to grab hold of the horse's bridle and twist it's head around. The assassin turns in the saddle, sthrusting with his sword with one hand and desperately trying to hang on with the other.
Meanwhile Eindric is dragged over the cement and stones, his blood leaving a trail on the ground.

Eindric will tumble and leap however he can in order to put his shield underneath him. Keeping the rope in one hand and the shield in the other, the bard will attempt to 'boogie board' around the compound. He wont try to get to his feet though - he can't actually. A crouching possition is fine, or whatever works just so long as the shield stays to the ground.

*OOC- Yay! I can post again
With my last level up I took Rapid Reload (Firearms). My understanding is that I can fire it two times as long as I don't do anything else. If this is not right please correct me.
For this round it doesn't matter since I am starting a song and firing once but I would like to be able to use this ability properly.
I do have precise shot so I don't worry about firing into a crowd but I wonder about many shot and rapid shot. How would those feats apply? Could I take 3 shots? I am not employing them now only because I don't know how.
Also, what is the threat range on the handcannon?*

Tenyanie is aghast with horror when she sees what is happening below. Anger fills her from loins to eyeballs. The amateur bard brings up a counterpoint to Eindric's singing (inspire courage +2 now with the combined songs) and brings her powerfull weapon up to her shoulder and squeezes off a shot.

[OOC] Unless its a different feat, Rapid Reload basically means its a free action to reload a firearm that took a movement before, and a movement to reload that took a full round action before. It has nothing to do with whether you can attack multiple times in a round. Your num of attacks has that (of course, it has to do with it in that the item needs to be reloaded) Corwyn, please correct me if im incorrect.
