For Teny's handcannon, the Rapid Reload allows her to fire it once per round, similiar to the heavy crossbow. Before the feat it took a full round to reload it, now it can be reloaded as a partial action, leaving you time in a round to fire it once. If you employ the Rapid Shot feat, I will allow even speedier reloading and you'd be able to fire two shots, with the -2 penalty as the feat normally applies. (+17 to hit once a round or +15/+15 twith the Rapid Shot right now) The Precise Shot feat is only moderately effective since the handcannon fires weapons that deal splash damage. Manyshot will have no effect on the handcannon or any other boomstick, just as it does not work on a crossbow. The handcannon's threat range is 20/x3*

Seeing Eindric's dive, Olian realizes the possible threat of the man. And while the fleeing man seems determined enough to ignore the damage caused by the arrows, he doubt that the horse will share the attitude. With a quick throwing gesture, he launches an eldritch blast at the horse's front knee betting that the pressure on an injured knee will cause the horse to throw the man.

Teny's powerfull weapon misses the rider by a few inches, exploding in mid air a little in front of him. He guides the horse around the blast, a few tears opening in it's skin. The man and steed seem a bit cinged and bloodied from the blast, but they do not falter.
Olian's magical blast strikes the horse right on target, tearing open it's knee and sending blood and muscle exploding from the animal's leg. The creature tumbles to the ground, kicking and neighing wildly. Animal handlers and soldiers surround the man and animal, sequestering them both. In moments, the assassin is lying on the floor, face down. His hands and feet bound, his mouth gagged. The concentration of military men and their response to the alarm whistle was impressive. Seconds later a dozen mounted, armed soldiers arrive on the scene, and now a detachemnet of Draminton soldiers can be heard heading through the city towards the nearest entrance to Draminiton proper.

*Free actions. The man is only slightly injured and bound and gagged. The horse is badly injured, but stable thanks to the animal handlers.*

Olian moves up to the scene moving beside Eindric as he does, admiring his work.

"And would if be possible for me to know why we were chasing this man?" he asks with a raised eyebrow and a quizzical tone.

Already the tale of, 'Something Rotten in Draminton,' is being widely spread. While accountants of the wild event vary, many are similiar and everyone talks of the news with interest....

Eindric gets to his feet and extricates the "claw-hook" from his side handing the bloody thing to Olian. A string of blood forms and plops to the floor, its trails retracting onto the dripping hook and absorbing into Eindric's new white (well it was a moment ago!) tunic. With a wry laugh that brings pain to his wound the bard answers, It must have been his magnetic personality. Thank you again for your aid. I am doubly indebted to you sir.

Limping over to the scene of the capture holding his guts in with one hand, Eindric calls out as he approaches, Great work! I'm proud of you. Ten platinum pieces bonus to everyone here. He surveys the prisoner to see that he is secured adequately. If they are not using the equivalent or better, he hands one man the MW manacles that he's carried in his pack so long as well as employ the Bands of Bilaro that have seen no use whatsoever since he first found them.

Ein will look around for a senior officer to delegate or else orders the men present to Strip him to his skivvies and take this scum to a holding cell. Put a heavy guard on him, I'll be there as soon as I can. Give him no quarter. Not an inch. But don't kill him. I want him alive.

Ein will then blow a loud tune of victory that he hopes will carry the all-clear message to those in hiding. Perform=

One to summon Berty to his own appartments where he will fill the man in as he changes clothes...Yes you will get some extras but I don't care. Anyone who claims it within the week will receive the bonus.
Berty, I wonder what you want for yourself. You are a world class administrator and invaluable to me wherever you are. But what do you want? Would you prefer to stay here or to travel? Whatever you do, I think you should have your own personal guard. Anyone in power becomes a target as today shows us all too clearly.

The second messanger informs Sandrel but is instructed to not disturb the man. Instead to notify any priest that he has non-urgent news for Sandrel. To then wait patiently at the temple until Sandrel is available. He will relay that an assasin has made a nearly successful attempt on me. That he is captured and at his leisure would he please either send someone or come himself if he likes, to verify truth durring a debriefing.
But do run up there please. Show the gate man this and tell them you are my messanger to the Temple. They will let you out: And tossing him a gold piece, sends him on his way.

The third notifies Haggy that an assassin has been captured and would she please send someone or come herself to assist in debriefing the swine.

By the time Ein has changed clothes he hopes that messangers are beginning to reapear. He will talk with Berty as long as he likes but he will be in public view so that he can be found for reports of various sorts.

A few more messages need be sent but I will list them in the FE thread as they do not pertain to the new captive.

"Well," Olian says with a slight chuckle, "it's better than being eaten by a dragon...and I hear we don't even taste that good. I will look this over if it seems fo interest."

Olian holds the gory hook at arms length to make sure it doesn't get on his newly mended and cleaned clothes. He makes an odd gather gesture and turns toward the captive before he gets too far away, walking along with the escorts for a short way.

He will hold the rope in front of him for a few second examining it.

Detect Magic for three round keeping the assassin within range, then turning toward the rope.

The messenger has to wait some time, perhaps 30 minutes or so to see Sandrel. Aparrantly he was locked away in important prayer. However, when Sandrel does see the man, he is in his robes, and he comes out smiling.

The smile quickly vanishes when the messanger tells him what had happened. In a moment his white robes change form, revealing the golden armor of Apollo.

"nonurgent?"

Sandrel barely stops to ask the man how Eindric is before he steps outside, grabbing the man with him, as he is being asked to preside over interrogation.

As they step outside, glory is waiting for them, apprantly having heard Sandrel's command.

Sandrel pulls the man above glory, revealing his seldom used physical strength, and within a moment Glory is off, at a pace that would be hard for most men to control. Stopping at the compound, He gives the man a moment to get off, and the glory takes the form of Eagle, as Sandrel makes his way forward.

Truly my decision is hard is all he can think to himself. If any guards seek to deny him entrance, his look is enogh to cause them to be aware that he will not be stopped.

His pace does not slow until he finds Eindric. He looks at his friend with a matter of concern, and certainly shares his frustration. Seeing his friends in juries, he knows that he is well.

Sandrel's words are few, and quite calm, and yet quite determined.

"Where IS he?"

Sandrel obviously speaks not of Eindric nor of any of the Flying E's, nor Ollian. His eyes are determined, and some might even imagine seeing the flame of Apollo in them, not the light of healing and hope that he so often exhudes. Those who know the stories of Apollo might very well be reminded that while the chariot gives light and hope, it can also burn.

Haggy also arrives, a glint in her eye as she thumbs the edge of one of her daggers.

Olian gathers up the gear stripped from the assassin for further study of clues.

Eindric feels a swelling of pride and joy at seeing the enraged Sandrel. His smile is impossible to contain. He is visibly glad to see Haggy as well. The bard however, has little to say. This way. He walks then toward the holding cells hoping that Olian will follow as well but not wanting to impose on his guest. Nay, he struts. Though he is self conscious and tries to be humble it is hard to do when surrounded by such powerful friends and allies.
When they arrive in the dungeon he will step past cell one and stop where Sandrel is central to the cage door. Ein is more than content to let Sandrel take over.
There should be a guard here but he says only, Thank you boys, to them.

It is plain to see that the captive inside the stone cell is none other than Toko himself. The boy is easily identifiable without his equipment. His make-up smudges and his false hair and beard torn from his face. He sits awkwardly, bound inside the magical bands, unmoving with his eyes closed.
