Sandrel, who is only vaguely familiar with Eindric's cmpound, looks about. He continues to keep watch over the bodies of the fallen.
"If we were closer to our temple, I would bring these men there. Do you have a hospital? If not a large room with space for 3 beds? If that exists, help me bring these friends there." If Eindric, Olian, and Haggy begin to arise, then he will ask the men to help them walk over there. If they do not (which will disturb Sandrel greatly), he asks for stretchers, so that they make take them carefull, and 6 men to bring them over there. He is most worried about Olian, as Sandrle knows the poison still courses through the man's body, and he is sure Glory will be well (though he continues to examine all 4). If any priests arrive, he asks (or commands, depending whom they might be) them to keep a good eye upon them, explaining what has happened. A thought for Olian enters his mind. "Antitoxin. Is there any within the compound?" |

Glory awakens and scrambes to his feet, neighing unhappily. Obviously annoyed but otherwise healthy and whole. The horse licks his lips, as if working a bad taste from his mouth. He sends to Sandrel telepathecly, An apple please. Thank you for the aid. An apple please...

Sandrel Hands Glory an apple (and a few sugar cubes), tells him to turn to a sparrow temprarily to get outside and wait either outside or back in his stable (where more apples await)
Otherwise, Sandrel is doing whatever he can to help the others, especially Olian. Last edited by Mirtos; Apr 16th, 2005 at 09:43 PM. |

When the rest of the FE clerics arrive, now that glory has flown out, Sandrel calms a bit. Clearly the others will be fine now.
He first steps over to Teny, and if she is not already standing by Eindric, he clasps her on the back. "Clearly Apollo was with you today. I am impressed at your stamina. I am gladdened that you are well." The last statement may have been for all as it had been for her. He finds a cook and requests some sweeks, for surely their mouths have a better taste. When he is able to give them this, and he knows they are all well, Sandrel turns to Eindric. "If this were another time, I would stay with you tonight. I have many duties, however. And in truth, the day has been ong, and calling forth the light and flame of Apollo so much can be tiring. I will need rest as well. Now that you are well, I must return to them. I will be unable to attend dinner or any meeting tonight, I am sorry. Perhaps tomorrow you can relay all decisions that are made that I would have interest in knowing? Though I am sure you can send a messenger for me if you need find me, in the future this will not be necesarry my friend. I have been preparing a gift for you, a gift of Apollo's eyesight and voice. The blessing will be strong, but it has required much prayer upon my part, and materials I did not have the wealth to afford. I had to borrow, in the name of the Wandering temple, which I will explain more to you tomorrow. If it is in your heart to do so, I owe 2,000 platinum for this gift I will give you upon the morn. In either case, I must go for the eve. The villan, Toko, who in fact once even gave me a poisoned healing kit, has been rendered ash, though I fear he took his own life first. Of his gear that remains, take it if you feel it wise, but be wary. Have Sergio with you at all times while doing so. Sergio, I would ask that if you need me, send an ad to find Clarion. For now we are in the temple of Apollo. If any of their symptoms return, find me immediately, no matter the hour." Sandrel's armor slowly fades away, revealing only the flowing robes of a priest of Apollo. Before leaving he returns the remains of the healing kit to the guard that had grabbed it for him. He takes his leave of the compound to return to his duties that he had before. First the governor, then the rest, sandrel thinks to himself. Last edited by Mirtos; Apr 18th, 2005 at 03:24 AM. |

*At this time, Eindric and Teny go to a private meeting with the governor. After which they will go to the captain's diner. They will be gone for nearly 2 hours. Olian, is there anything you wish to do in the mean time?*
*Teny, you had semi-free actions during the meeting. Did you do anything while you waited? You saw the meeting in the FE thread, right?* |

*ein, you were the subject of 3 lesser restoration spells, and your ability modifiers are returned to normal. Associated damages are also healed. Toko is ash and you may recollect your Bands of Bilarro, but the manacles are slag, scrap for the smiths. Your meeting with the gov will commence shortly. You have free actions untill that time (for now Proctor thinks that the party will take place tomorrow and has everyone working franticly, soon you will push that time frame back a bit).*
Haggy thanks Sandrel for saving her life again, and then investigates the corpse of Toko. She looks closely at the teeth, finally saying, aye, I canna tell fer sure, but I think the bugger 'ad a magic thing called a capshell, it's a posionous device used ina assassin's guild. Middleden assassin's always use 'em. It's kept in yer toof. Kills you, when you bite down on it, but usually is fatal to yer captors as well... She nods in the direction that Sandrel had left in and then looks at Teny appraisingly. She smiles at Eindric, revealing her own missing teeth and asks impishly, so whaddaya want me ta find ot from yer captive? |

Olian Der'natal
Olian listens to the explanation from Haggy then grunts lightly. He makes a quick pass over his mouth and murmurs several words that seem close to those that wizards use, but not quite. His color rapidly returns as he picks up the gear the from Toko that he had dropped when he fell unconscious. "I will check this gear out to make sure there are no other enchantments upon it.", he says as he moves out the door toward his room. As he gets back to his room, he will lay the gear out on the floor. He will study each carefully as he pulls a wand out of his pack...

Olian is directed to his quarters by a pale young boy, he seems to have lost his guide, Tommy. The new boy, calls himself Aen and happily shows the warlocke to a quest suite in the ambassadoral lounge. The building is designed to house visiting dignitaies and nobles, but very few of the plush rooms are occupied. Nevertheless, soldiers wearing the Flying E's uniforms guard the doorways and walk the halls. There is a dedicated maid service and cleanign staff and Olian is shown to a large well-appointed room where a hot bath had been drawn and a clean outfit resembling something a wealthy merchant might wear, has been laid out on the luxorious bed. A slim, young girl with a sweet voice asks in dulcet tone, Is there anythign we can do for you, Master Olian? She curtsies as she speaks the warlocke's name, holding her skirts in one hand as if addressing royalty.
The clothing is mostly cotton, but of a very fine thread and tightly woven. There is a pressed white shirt with a high color and loose sleeves as well as a long tail in back. A cream colored jacket with light blue lapels and an even longer tail, complements the shirt and matches the light blue pants which have strange closures in the front waist and is cut extremely loose in the leg. The seams are masterrfully created and the pants seem strong and soft at once, but also cotton. A reversible cape of cream and light blue comes complete with a silver brocade and polished boots of white stand beside the bed. The room boosts a private wash closet, where the large tub awaits, steaming hot. A brazier beside the cast iron tub burns gently keeping the air warm. Large windows let in the late afternoon sunlight, aided by the many lamps and candelabras that light the room. All of the furniture is polished oak and deep pile carpet of natural tones covers most of the floors. The upholstry on the chirs and couches are brighter colors, shades of deep blues and purples, matching the bed coverings. All of the fixtures are polished brass. *Meanwhile, Teny and Ein are at the Governor's residence and Sandrel as at the temple.*

Olian glances around the room with a smug smile on his face and a nod. After looking at the cloths, studying the pants with an odd look on his face he turns to the girl and says, "Do you by chance have any pants less...baggy? The clothing is exceptional, but,", he shrugs, "I find pants this loose to be somewhat uncomfortable." After getting his answer (either way), Olian dismisses the girl. He checks the temperature of the bath, calling for more hot water if necessary, then takes a nice hot bath and scrubs himself clean and relaxes for a bit.

In response to Haggy, Eindric says, Midleton eh? Check him over. Let me know if you find any other clues.
Olian, your assessments have been most impressive thus far. Had I taken your warnings more gravely dear Sandrel might have been saved a bit of trouble. Ein lets out an unneasy false laugh. Anything else you determine will likely be invaluable. Ein will thank Sandrel again then go off to change - again - and make his way to the meeting with the Mayor. (It is durring thsi process, as stated in the other thread, that runners are sent to Proc and the chat with Berty is had.)
