Bro - if you are interested and able to arrange for the book to be purchased electronically and downloaded, I think we could host that here... or at least explore that possibility with the other Principals. I'm sure we could do that if there were no fee. The fee issue would have to be approved in committee 1st.

At the very least, you could sell it or offer it on your own site and we would be glad to help you promote it here.

DnDOG has always assisted its member authors in promoting their works/web sites.

It looks like I'll be going that route quite soon. None of the publishers or agents I solicited have made any real attempt to pursue my title. If I self publish, I might attract enough interest for a sequel to get professionally published.
Look for my novel on a web-page near you, in the coming weeks.

Hello. I have been back for a few weeks now. I am glad to be posting on these forums again. If anyone from this game is still around and interested in playing with me, please speak up. I have been reading some of the old posts in this game and I feel bad about leaving a cliff-hanger. I'd happily wrap up any open story lines and regroup for a conclusion, or else write RP reasons as to how PCs from here have ended up in my new game....

I'm not sure the character sheet still exists, but I could ressurect the personality if you gave me a few days to read everything again.

Still here, still have my sheet and would love to resume your game! (Or start something else or what have you).

Awesome... let me read up as well, and also see who else comes out of the wood work. We'll make something!

Hi Corwyn! Great to see you here. I'm definitely game to jump back in.

Also -- let me know if there's somewhere I can link to your book from our 'books by site members' page. I had trouble finding it.

Reading the old threads really brings back some memories - this was an awesome game, it completely took turns I'd never expected it to.

Anyway, the way I see it you have three options:
  • Press on with your old characters (or reworked versions of the character concepts at least) and try to complete the campaign.
  • Follow story hooks in game to bring the characters to a new plane, with a new campaign.
  • Create new characters (using the original concepts or not) for a new campaign.

Before you decide, check out your most recent threads in the Pantheon of the Twelve:
Also, check out my new game, Time & Distance, based off a table-top game that I created from scratch. I'm still adding details (there is a lot), but look around see if it suits you. The world is very much worked out and can handle 1st-20th level challenges.

Let me know which option you prefer.

I've reviewed the old threads and found a rough description of him (pre-mech) on my computer. That plus the stats that are still in the character application thread I could rebuild him easily enough, especially since you were good enough to put the stats for a lot of the homebrew stuff in the first post of the ronin thread.

Whether it's finishing the old campaign (which I was only barely engaged in and don't really remember) or progressing into a new one I'm indifferent to.

If I remember correctly, Smokey was in a pretty dire situation with no clear way out. Sounds like a great place to pick up.

I like the character Smokey, and would probably prefer to just play him again. I don't care much if it is the old campaign or a new one. It looks like masternate is no longer here, so it might be nice to gloss over what happened there and move onto a new story line.

If you want to play a new or lower level campaign (Time & Distance for example), I'm not opposed to making a new character either. I'm pretty open to whatever you want to do. My only concern is that I'm a bit overextended with the number of games I'm in at the moment, so I may be a little slow to post. That is why playing Smokey is appealing as I already have the character ready and I mostly remember the story.

This is where we left things: http://www.rpgcrossing.com/showthrea...00#post2857900

That was some kind of new mix of PCs, but the other players aren't here, so... I'm good backtracking, or taking it from there, or anything really. Finn was trapped in some kind of forcecage or something -- not difficult to turn that into a one way portal to anywhere. I liked the character, and would prefer to continue playing him, but I'm open to other possibilities.

Decisions, decisions. Well, neither Smokey nor Joseph were too heavily caught up with the Swords themselves, though Finn really was.

To make it easier on me, I suggest transferring to the Time and Distance campaign. I can write conclusions for your characters here, and reasons why/how they came to a new land if applicable. So, you have a choice - use these characters or make new ones.
Also, do you prefer to have a higher starting level or should we start a little lower, I favor 6-12th level depending on party dynamics.
