Contestants who wish to join the arena must post links to their charcter sheets here. Please use secret text, as the other contestants will be your enemies in the games.

Characters must comply with the following rules in order to be considered.

• No demi-races. That is, no elves, dwarves, half-elves, half-orcs, halflings, gnomes, drow or any similiar races. However, classes, PrCs, items and magic that is race dependent can be taken by humans if all other requirements are met.
  EDIT - you can select a demi-human, if your character is 'live', and active in another campaign and your DM is willing to accept the outcome of the contest in some way.
• Level 1 - 16 only.
• Character generation has no specific rules, but is subject to inspection. When generating characters for the purpose of competing here, please try to stick to SRD character wealth estimates.
• Players can submit more than one character, but no more than four characters.
• Spell users will be carefully scrutinized. There are limited numbers of spell users in this campaign. If you submit a Wizard or Sorceror, you may not submit any other characters.
• If you are submitting multiple characters, chose a primary character. This is the character who will compete first. If you find yourself pitted against another of your own characters, you may allow another player to run your secondary character, or else forfeit the match.
• Homebrew items, campaign specific items, artifacts and modern items must be presented with sufficient rules and back story.
• Players wishing to recieve experience from this tournament (those from outside campaigns must have their DMs approval) will also have to accept potential dangers. If there is a chance to gain XP, items or coins, then there must also be a chance you could lose your items, your money or even your life.
• Players from outside this campaign must avoid posting in the general forums of this game. Keep your ooc in the Battle Arena OOC thread.
• Do not ask about the nature of the arena itself. From year to year the contests, challenges and terrain is altered. The locals do not know what to expect and if asked, they'd say, 'anything and everything'.
• Contestants will be rated not through CR or ECL, but by competing in the preliminary challenges. Your success there will award you a rank. This number will place you among other challengers. Your rank will change as you compete.
• Once accepted you may post in the Visitor's Center thread. While there, keep in character. Keep to your primary character. Accepted characters will find their names listed in this post.

Vinnie is approved to compete. Instantaneous travel could easily be purchased in any town large enough to have a Red Temple or Blue Temple in it.
If Vinnie doesn't have the money to pay the fees, the Blue Temple immediately will offer to sponser him, providing all transportation and entry fees as well as living arrangements during the competition in exchange for 25% of all his earnings in the arena.

Vinnie may freely begin to post in the TPA Visitors Center. While his personal story progresses in normal time, he may be considered to have already made it the arena.





**Note to my players. If you are going to compete, you may begin registering here and communicating in the visitors center immediately. Paradoxes of time and logistical difficulties will be handled on a case by case basis.
For example, Zak is fighting the Grey Horde outside of Sir Andrew's Keep, but he wants to compete. He can immediately begin posting in the Battle Arena areas and even fight in the arena. All the while his story progresion continues from its point today. When he finishes with the Grey Horde, Zak travels to nearby Bastion City and purchases transportation to the Arena - now he is in real time. Or conversely, he dies figthing the horde and the character in the arena becomes a custom-made character with nothing to lose or gain here. Course he could die in the arena first... but then it wouldn't matter what he did against the Grey Horde...

25% is acceptable to the Scourge of The Plains. Anything larger will result in maiming.
