I do not know who you are, but know this. you were protected by Apollo, but your actions do not suit the master of the chariot. As he moves fast across the sky, he is also a keeper of calm. There is a time for all things, and your actions showed a lack of respect for his benevolence. I speak for him as his connection to these parts, and I speak as best I can. I make mistakes, and I would not say I know all, I do not, but I have learned much from him, and perhaps patience is most important. Let us speak now with calm and coolness in our hearts. you saw I chose not to strike you with my blade, nor did I unleash the arrows of my master upon you, which would have found their mark, their blessing from he who burns so brightly himself. Let us not disrepespect him with anger un-needed. |

(assuming Sandrel has the blade)
This blasphemer claims that Appollos magic cannot harm him and that is his proof of truth. Apollo himself gave me that blade and I'll not give it up to any but himself if I can help it - which it looks as though I cannot. Ein finishes with a frown. (If it is on the ground Ein will dive for it and roll away, saying the same thing but with actions. And more uregncy/troubles apparent in his voice.)

Tenyanie, reacts belatedly to Eindric's commands, summoning her powers with gyrations of her slender arms. Her metallic dress shimmers brightly in the noon sun, and her feminine curves complete the divine picture, making her seem like a noble woman dancing at a formal reception. The shorn stalks of wheat and the roots of trees reach out, writhing in a wide circle directly behind Tyren. The leaves and branches trying to grasp his legs, the stalks and roots looping over his feet.
Tyren Reflex: Dice Roll:
The effects that Tenyanie summoned do not reach as far as Eindric or Sandrel, but the edges of the spell come quite close. *Sandrel, you had attacked once (move action), picked up the Sword (move action), Quick Drew it into your sheath (free action), spoke (free action), summoned Glory mentally (free action), took a five-foot step backwards (free action). That is all you can do this round (no leaping onto Glory's back right this second...)* |

Tyren looks disgusted at both Eindric and Sandrel's words, and his gaze follows Sandrel. He seems to ignore the entanglement that Teny had cast, but he does step out of it, drawing closer to Sandrel as he does so. Tyren speaks slowly, suppressing his anger with an obvious effort. "Test me if you will, but do not try to impede my mission. If I fail, I will plague you for eternity. My ghost will hunt your bloodline until my geas has been answered."

If your duty is true, then I will do all I may to aid it. But first, this conflic must end. I have no weapon in hand, nor will I draw it. but first, in the presence of allthis is a time for words of truth and honor. Master of truth and light, show me your senses so I may better understand this man.

as Sandrel does this, he steps backward and leaps unto Glory, who's action is simple, move away from the man should he attempt to reach for Sandrel.
Fast mount ride check: Dice Roll:
(If he succeeds, its a free action, and he will ready the rest, if he fails, then he mounts Glory as a move action) Readying an action to quicksraw his bow and fire an arrow if the man attacks anyone. |

*Depends. Where is the sword?* If it is in Tyren's hands, I will delay my action and see what Sandrel has in mind. If it is loose, I will jump on it. (Per above post)

*the Sword is in a sheath at Sandrel's belt. The cleric is weilding his own sword and sitting astride Glory, the horse seems prepared to run off at a moments notice, though it watches Tyren suspiciously.*

Actually... Sorry to interrup, but while dragonslicer IS in my belt, I am NOT weilding my own sword, as I dropped it to Grab Dragonslicer. In fact my blade (a bastard sword) is lying upo the ground a foot or two from Tyren...
Oh, and at the moment, I have NO weapon in hand. Last edited by Mirtos; Nov 30th, 2004 at 10:49 PM. |

Then I stand close enough to Tyran to attack him as I do wield a sword (Luckblade) but I do not strike him. I blow my whistle again and motion for teh others to come close and form a circle. To be ready should be apparent from the postures of Teny and Myself (sword in hand) and Sandrel and the Stranger. But the hand motion for 'patience' and 'form a circle' should be universally understood. We all wait together.
If Sandrel asks me to step back, I do. I have already told Sandrel that the scoundrel claims that Apollo's magic cannot hurt him and I stand by waiting for Sandrel to prove that incorrect before attacking again.

A few people can be seen responding to Eindric's signals. The nearest is a troop of drilling security men, lead by Threeguy himself. They are running towards the area.
*About two rounds for Threeguy and the twelve men he has with him. There are more people coming about a round behind them.* |

ooc question, ive been assuming we're on round to round, and Tyren's action is up... If it is Sandrel's action, this is wht he does next. If Tyren goes and does something, obviously this may change.
Seeing Tyren is just standing there, he mentally has glory back up a bit as sandrel looks up to the sky. Looking towards Eindric, and then back, he speaks calmly. "Indeed he did have the will of apollo protecting him. Our lord can be so much more than you can imagine Eindric, even having met him. However, while his duty may remain, Apollo has grown displeased, and that protection is gone. Turnng his focus more towards Tyren, Sandrel continues his explanation of what he believes is happening. you see, you misunderstood what Apollo was doing for you. his protection is not an excuse to act poorly and he certainly does not want you taking advantage of it to attack one of his faithful. As much as our lord cares about the sun and music, wisdom is important to him as well. Now calmly, I would ask you to tell me about youself again. Release the threats, and let us speak in peace. Let truth come strong as his light will guide us to a point of understanding. Sandrel casts Zone of Truth, centering it on his location. Anyone within 40 feet of where he currently is must make a DC 19 check. He also doesnt expect that Tyrel will be affected, as he is sure this is a man with a strong sense of will, and so he is still going to be watching his body, his eyes, etc...
