Tyren looks up at Sandrel and shouts, "now do you believe me? You can not hurt me with the powers of the god who has laid this geas upon me!" Tyren slips his shortbow from off his shoulder, aiming at Sandrel, he lets an arrow fly and then another. Attack vs Sandrel (less the penalties for distance): Dice Roll:

Sandrel takes Damage (two hits):
Dice Roll:
Eindric launches a bolt at Tyren, but the rogue moves his body to the side, allowing the projectile to pass him by harmlessly. Tenyanie suddenly enters into a blinding state of speed, like the rogue, firing arrows at him unmercifully, a veritable hail of arrows comes from her even as Threguy and his men send another volley. Arrows at Tyren (Teny: 3 +4's, 9 +9's; 3guy: +16; 6 Troops I: +9; 6 Troops II: +5): Dice Roll:

The barage of arrows rains down around Tyren, the rogue avoiding them with seemingly casual twists of his body, barely paying them heed, a crop of arrow shafts rises from the ground in a neat circle, replacing the burnt stalks of wheat. One of the arrows comes so accurately and so perfectly fired, Tyren can not dodge aside in time. But he is quick, and again is near inhuman speed allows him to reach out into the storm of arrows and pluck one of them from it's flight. He unhesitatingly fits the arrow to his bow and sends it after Sandrel, in a display of lightning swiftness that is terrifying to behold.
Attack vs Sandrel: Dice Roll:
*Accounting for the song bonus (I almost forgot), the event still does not change. (The 2nd song takes affect on Eidric's next round.* |

--- According to what I rmember, If Glory has a weapon or item on him when he changes, it will be changed along... like a polymorph. Am I remembering correctly? ---
Sandrel speaks in response, as Glory moves even further out of range. you speak of the _quest_ my master has given you, and I can see that you believe it. And eindric speaks well also. You first said you would hear my test, but then you threatened me if I did not hand over the blade in three seconds. Before that, you attemted to kill Eindric, thinking "Apollo" would let you. Would my lord protect you from holy fire? Perhaps. Would he protect you from the light of truth? the light of truth that causes no harm unless one seeks to deceive? I do not believe this is so. Eindric speaks of my lords power, and he is right, it is great. But not always, good friend, can he speak directly, or does he think he should. It is also our duty to learn. This man believes he speaks truth, and he may be just as deceived by the master liar. If you would allow me to learn, to seek the real truth in all of this, then we can stop this. I of course, am not the one to say so, as Eindric speaks his truth that Apollo gave the sword to he, and he must decide. But it is my duty to learn the true truth. If you will not allow this, on the other hand, then I WILL be forced to bring my arrows to your heart, and while you are fast, I can applaud you of this, when I bring it up, I shall not drop my bow until my death. And do not think that will grant you success. For until I can know truth, my last act will be to keep the sword from your hands. If you speak truth about the quest, this will mean failure to our lord. There can be only one answer. Surrender thyself.

Not that I expect this threat/diplomacy to work, is there any form of roll i should make. (also know that Glory brought Sandrel another 120 feet away from him.. probably 60x60... knowing he can easily make a ride back and fire all three arrows if he needs to)

Tyren looks up at Sandrel and grimaces, all the while neatly avoiding the hall of arrows that rains down around him. He seesm the picture of confidence, despite the quickly growing forces that amass around him. Every moment that passes and the assembled troops are unable to bring him down, lends him more and more confidence in his task and in himself. "Okay, cleric," he calls out in a voice more booming and powerful than should be possible in a human, "call of your dogs and we shall parlay."
Tenyanie pauses, her next arrow nocked. She takes her place in the line, enclosing the ring around Tyren a little more, but her eyes move to Eindric, waiting for his desicion. *Eindric, your action...* Drop this text at http://www.irony.com/java/mmee *BEGIN 0 0 rs 0 *s 0 1r 1b o5 gb *s 4 76 4z rs 0 *s 2 8e 3o rs 0 *s -3 gq 48 rs @0 Man *s -3 8q 3m rs 0 Eindric *s -3 k 26 rs 0 Sandrel *s -3 6p @4h rs 0 *s 2 52 52 rs 0 *s -3 38 55 rs 0 Tenyanie *s -3 7b 59 @rs 0 Tyren *s 7 -1h 6f rs 0 *s -3 -1r 6b rs 0 Glory *s h ib 5s @6y0 0 *s -3 h6 6c rs 0 Entangle *s 2 77 8f rs 0 *s 2 6g 8d rs 0 *s @2 6e 91 rs 0 *s 2 7t 8e rs 0 *s 2 78 9p rs 0 *s 2 5q 72 rs 0 *s @0 74 71 rs 0 *s 0 6e 70 rs 0 *s 0 8d 6g rs 0 *s 0 52 5q rs 0 *s @0 5p 6d rs 0 *s 0 7q 70 rs 0 *s -3 5i 7w rs 0 3Guy *s -3 ho bk @rs 0 13 *s -3 h6 bb rs 0 14 *s -3 i3 b7 rs 0 15 *s -3 hw c4 rs 0 @16 *s -3 hr bz rs 0 17 *s -3 gf am rs 0 19 *s -3 iz aq rs 0 20 *s @2 8h 8g rs 0 *s 7 1s 1l p6 fw *s h h9 5g 3mk 0 *s -3 h8 5w rs 0 @Flame Strike *s 2 c cw rs 0 *s 2 11 do rs 0 *s 2 g bn rs 0 *s 0 @ef aa rs 0 *s 0 ef 9k rs 0 *s 0 eh 8w rs 0 *s 7 ed b rs 0 *s 7 @ed 11 rs 0 *s 2 e8 9 rs 0 *s 2 e8 y rs 0 *END -j9f1rf |

Sandrel smiles, but would also like to examine the words of Tyren. Do I believe he is telling the truth? Or at least do I believe he is sincere?
Feel free to post here or in my private thread, I will make the answer known to all. Sense motive: Dice Roll:

The man's confidence is plain to see. He answers and speaks as if he is not afraid of baring his soul to the world. He believes his own words and is quite smug about it.

Ein os forced to stop singing again to rebuke the deception laid before us. "Skilled liars use grains of truth to pepper their poisons. There is one we all know to whom Apollo has given a guise. LOKI himself. Apollo cast Loki from his own body with Farslayer. Perhaps this is the best that the once-great god of lies can muster now that he has been so badly beaten by the God of Truth and Light.
We are dealing with a diety here but a severly hobbled diety. Loki the pitifull. Loki the landbound. Loki the Jokie. Loki who comes begging for a sword and hasn't the courage to announce himself properly. Loki the teller of transparent falsehoods. Loki who's powers are stretched when he produces a plate of pasta. Loki the laughable." *Diplomacy check to persuade men and infuriate our "godly-guest" Dice Roll:
