Actually, he's retreating with no care or regard for his person - i.e. no using a withdraw action, but merely turning and rushing out of a threatened square. Thus, he's subject to an AOO from anyone threatening said square. Don't worry about it, though, as Darian's attack is quite enough. I'll update shortly.
