I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that we will allow the firearms to be used in the campaign. Unfortunately, in order to not completely reflavor the adventure and the location, we will be using the Emerging Firearms rules so that guns exist but are not common. This may deter you from using them but the option to change Coll is up to you.

Okay, that actually means I have to do some rebuilding for Coll because he already has a pistol, but it uses third party rules that are very different.
This leads me to another question on how you're planning to handle the difference in technology levels between different parts of the Core when it comes to firearms rules. Coll, for instance, was born and raised in Lamordia, which has Renaissance-era technology. Would Lamordia use the Common Guns rules? If so, can Coll use firearms as a Martial Weapon and without the Gunsmithing feat since he grew up in a place where firearms were commonplace (but still need to pay the Emerging Guns monetary costs of acquiring said weapons and the necessary ammunition)?

Oh, another question: if I take ranks in "Craft (Firearms)" instead of the Gunsmithing feat, does that mean I can do gun repair and maintenance by rolling? (as opposed to not needing to roll if I take the feat) Or is it impossible to do any form of Gunsmithing at all without the feat?

I'm going to say that Coll can use the firearms as martial weapons but needs Gunsmithing to actually Gunsmith, instead of using the Craft skill.
Also this goes for everyone. If you would like to update your characters with new rules or anything please do it now before any combat starts. Please let me know if you do so as well so I can review the changes.

Only change I might want to make is switching my Int (12) with my Cha (14) Not sure why I put them in that order.

Well, it's a readied action for when they get close.. or maybe an AoO if one of them passes him? *shrug* whatever you think is best.
What's your decision on the feat problem?

Well they started far enough away that they won't reach your character until you get another turn, so if you are still going to wait for them then I will use it then.
As for the feat, feel free to switch it now if you wish. Feel free to choose whatever you want that you actually qualify for
